  1. How many times have any of us sort of "come to" and realized we weren't paying attention to the road for the last minute? Fiddling with the A/C controls or the radio, or dropped your sunglasses and were reaching down to pick them up… or lord knows the distractions on our smartphones. We're so used to glancing up every now and then and traffic is moving smoothly. Until something like this….

  2. I really hope charges are brought against the semi truck driver. This was negligent driving. Also he is a professional driver. Paid to be attentive and safe. The disabled truck is clearly visible for at least an eighth of a mile before impact. Plenty of time to avoid the accident. If I'm on the jury I would vote for criminal negligence

  3. Trucker didnt care about anyone else but himself. Didnt even check to see if anyone had been in the car. Didnt even check with the people standing by the shoulder for details or at least admit the fault. Took him a long time to get out of the truck, only to inspect his own truck. Guys a douche

  4. Can the driver who took it upon himself to STOP on the median run across a BUSY LANE of sourcing cars on a Highway , to SHUT the door off the pickup truck be charged with ANY traffic violations for doing that he did?
IMO the truck would have probably made it a little longer has he NOT SHUT THE DOOR! JUST CURIOUS.

  5. I love these idiots that just drive right past the cops and the burning truck and just take the exit anyways. People with zero brains out there driving several thousand pound lethal weapons.

  6. My first thought was "who is leaving the door open"…then I understood "Okay thats smart, because when your brain see a car with door open on highway it will understand something is off faster than if it wasnt"…Okay Ill keep that one for future.

  7. 10:53 the police car arrives and parks the car in the right lane . ahhh police officer ….- i don't think it's a good idea if we take into account what just happened here not long time ago. I would highly recommend you move your car to a safer zone .

  8. Why did that dude close the door? It didn't look like it was in the other lane. Not saying he was at all responsible for the crash but the lane was already blocked, closing a door that's taking up maybe 3 feet of the lane doesn't change the situation and he ran across 2 lanes for it. Please tell me what I'm missing. Wish there were narration on this one.

  9. I really think the guy in the silver minivan who closed the door actually caused this! if the door was left open chances are much better that truck would have recognized it long ahead and slowed down… What happens is people see but don't realize vehicle is actually stopped until last second, that's why you see after he closed the door so many cares started to swerved at the last second.
