  1. Great video!
I learned how to swim when I was young, but this helped me improving the technique. I'm working now on the rotation.

Well explained, with slow motion and graphics, to see the technique better.

  2. I have my fingers relaxed and slightly spread when entering the water. It actually does not reduce efficiency and it greatly relaxes me which improves all other parts of my stroke, especially breathing.

  3. I haven't swimmed for 4 years I use to attend swimming sessions once a week for 6 years. It's really difficult to breath as I keep burping 😂😂

  4. I’ve been trying to learn freestyle for years on the rare times I get to to visit the pool, but I could never get the arm movement right when I’m in the water. It’s weird.

  5. I wish this video had been around in 2009. I was a ok swimmer with lots of raw strength. I had a good coach but I literally needed a visual and almost someone to direct my arms and this wasn’t the style of teaching that my teammates or coach had the temperament for. And YouTube existed but now it’s been around long enough to find anything you want. Oh well I still love swimming and improvement is a lifetime habit.

  6. Instinct.. dive into the pool and let your instinct kick in at first you will feel you're about to die then you will obtain a secret ability that will help you to avoid dying.. that's why there's a quote “what kills me makes me stronger”..
