just got my first unassisted pull up today! something that also helped me was using those large resistance rubber bands on your feet, then knees as you build strength.
But bro I never did any of these movements. I saw my friend doing pull ups I simply tried to replicate it and went from 0-10 pulls ups I don't know exactly how many months but I know i didn't do any of the movements or progession just jumped to main movement.

Umm I’m probably not doing it right but I can do 2 pull-ups in a row at ten I know it’s not much but it’s something
Assisted pull ups and push ups,hanging ,shrugs helped me i went from 0 to 11 in 1 month
From factory i could do 1 pull up always but man, to go over 6 took time

Number 4: Use a resistance band
I can do 1 chin up but no pull ups yet

Why dont you just do lat pulldowns and work your way up to your bodyweight, and then you can do actual pull ups
