Quick update on me: Since I started my fat loss journey, I'm down 24 lbs (11kg). All throughout my diet, I used a flexible approach to nutrition (tracking protein and calories only) and put all of the strategies outlined in this video to work. I also have to give credit to the MacroFactor App, which I used to determine and update my calories and macros based on changes to my metabolism over time. Full disclosure: I'm a part owner of the app, so I may have some bias, but I truly believe it's the best nutrition app on the market. Unlike most apps, it isn't just a food logger. It’s a science-based nutrition coach that uses algorithms to detect changes in your metabolism and make adjustments to your food intake based on your individual weekly check ins. It also has a "dynamic maintenance mode" that will adjust your diet to ensure that you stay within +/-2 lbs of your goal weight once you reach it! Most diet apps merely focus on weight loss and don't set you up for success after you've reached it. MacroFactor is truly unique in this regard. If you'd like to try it for yourself, here is a free 2-week trial: http://bit.ly/jeffmacrofactor. By downloading it, you help support me in the process, so thank you!! Hope your guys' week gets off to a solid start! Peace!
Yeah science
Those ruffles all dressed are the bane of my existence.
and 10:37, eyeing up that pizza made me lol.
Eat only meat and you will forget what bodyfat is
9:50 Rubix cube!!
Life is definitely too short to eat chicken and broccoli every day. I couldn't agree more on this video. I mean, you can eat exclusively clean food, but no longer than a month or two months max. You simply get bored and in need of some tasty. Diet has to be flexible if you want it to be sustainable long-term. I'm currently following a meal plan from OnlyMeal (they also give you personalized workout plan). They allow choosing the foods you actually enjoy eating and even make some space for cheat meals. Results are great so far.
If you dont know what to

I need help I train so hard and eventually lost 4% body fat to22%「 but recently I have been so stressd so my weight goes up by 27% in just 3 weeks?! And I find I’m starving in the night and I can’t sleep well! What I should u !
Spoiler alert: he bulked instead
I used to be a lean 12-15% 172lb when i was 22, completely natural too. Then i got in a relationship and stopped ggoing to the gym, got skinny, dont know what i weighed for a while but then switched to an at home job and 8 years later at 30 I got up to 210lb 5'10".
I started going back to the gym at 29 and hurt my lower back about 5 months in after becoming the strongest i had ever been. Physical Therapy got me slightly visible abs for the first time ever but after 6 months I was done and went back to the gym but ate like crap. Was still somewhat working out but not super consistent, 2-4 days a week with horrific diet (meaning 0 plan tons of fast food tons of ice cream etc) and sedentary lifestyle otherwise almost no steps.
210lb was an absolute nightmare. I have a bit of muscle but im about a month into my first serious cut. Thanksgiving made me have a bit of a cheat day, but I got down from October to December from around 210 to about 185. I still have so much body fat and nowhere near the amount of muscle I had at 22, but I actually feel great on a big deficit. My plan is to stay at about 700-900kcal deficit until January then switch to what should be about a 300-500kcal deficit until March.
I dont really care about the weight. When I was 22 I dreamed of being a lean 180 but had trouble getting above 170 despite looking incredible and being truly obsessive with diet and the gym. Now its cool to be 185 again but if i wanted to be similarly lean or really leaner, 8-12% so I can have seriously visible 6 pack abs, shoulder and chest striations, and way less facial far, I will probably have to go down to like 155-160 which I hope I can get to by March 2025.
Then ill try doing a lean bulk and its great that Jeff has videos for all of it. That once dream of a lean 180 could come within 2 years or so, and id be ecstatic to look that good at 33.
These videos really help so much. The deficit isnt really bad, at first I would crave soups and salt so i just found out about bone broth, about 45kcal mostly protein per cup, or just stock which is about 10kcal per cup! Just gotta drink plenty of water to counteract the sodium and not make it a daily thing, but still, its fantastic, fills you up and is tasty and satisfying.
Highly recommend broth as a snack for those on a serious cut experiencing issues with hunger!
I'm eating nothing but cardarine…
How the absolute flip am I eating more than 3,333.4-3,400 calories per day
Like whaaaaaaa
i think ive got a 3000 calorie surplus even though im only 130 lbs…
losing weight slowly is so great! I lose 10kg, took me almost a year. For many people maybe too slow. But for me, I feel like weight just came off by itself. On top of that I’m able to maintain my weight without feel like trying. It’s been a year since my new weight.
king
I can't chill Im mentally ill and I need to lose fat to be happy
"Spike during Thanksgiving." Me thinking about Thabksgiving in a few weeks thats going to fuk everything up lol.
chicken.
I lost 13kgs in 6months but I feel like it's not going any farther. Trying to keep everything the same BUT increase my daily steps now.
Method one has me at 2950 calories that’s by 14 too. That seems wayyyy to high lol
See how much focus a scientist gives more on the mind than the actual workout and food. It's a minds game
how do i look like the pic on the left 🥴
Did he say adapt?
Is this a JJK reference…
I tried intermittent fasting back in 2022 and it helped me to lose 18 kilos of weight but I gained it all back after I started going to the college. What would be a better meal plan in your opinion, intermittent fasting or multiple small means through out the day?
I fast 18-20 hours a day. Down 30kg in one year
those habit advice seems so similar to the one in "atomic habit" 😂
Awesome
