As silly as it sounds, it works if you don't over due it. Like anything you should start slowly and add tasks over time. It worked for me at least, an individual with ADHD.
Honestly for the scrolling one I think that 1 push up per 2 minutes is much more reasonable than 1/1, since I can currently only do 10 push ups per set.
