  1. I really appreciate you had a retired officer give commentary. My heart just hurt for the father, mother, friend, and witnesses. The victim was just a baby. 😭

  2. That poor lady who saw the whole thing because she was driving behind them, is absolutely traumatized and may have some PTSD. I got it when I saw my husband wreck his bike and I couldn’t sleep or eat for days and I could see when I closed my eyes was his accident. I hope she seeked some help to process this. It’s a terrible thing to see something like that.

  3. I almost lost it when they told the father about his daughter!
I agree that the sentence did not meet the crime. He took her life and he still breathing behind bars while still has 3 meals a day, roof over his head!

  4. Oh god that has the be the hardest thing, telling a parent their child has passed away. I respect him for doing that, i just about broke into tears when i saw his reaction.

  5. So let me get this right, the workers jaywalk across this street every day and now they are surprised that one of them got killed? I hope I'm wrong about that. I am deeply sorry for the family's loss.

  6. It says a lot how this effects everyone. People still care about one another. It devastates people that witness this and they didn't even know her. It's a shame it takes something like this for us to think about it but We go about our day taking things for granted.

  7. My buddy’s sister was ☠️crossing the street after leaving the bar…..dark, lighting was bad, speed limit was too high for the pedestrian traffic due to all the bars/clubs in the area. After it happened they added a crosswalk, lots of lights, lowered the speed limit……

  8. what kind of sentence is that????????? he hit, killed and ran.. just because he didnt want to answer questions.. that poor family rest in peace to her i hope the family is healing.

  9. I appreciated the after-discussion. Interesting points. I agree that I felt bad for how the grandfather was treated and that the one officer was a bit stoic.

  10. The night that I got my CPR certification, there was a man walking across the main drag in Jacksonville, NC that was hit by a van. His shoes stayed RIGHT where they were as he was walking and he flew several feet and hit the curb. He was gone. I saw it happen, and I was first to the victim. This video just rocked me back 26 years and gave me memories back that I had previously buried. Dammit. Mine wasn't a hit and run… Just felt like sharing because this jogged my memory the way it did.

  11. Watching her father fall apart was just horrible. The grandfather was even worse to watch. Jesus christ. That girl was loved, deeply. I was definitely moved to tears and I thought my ass was desensitized to the max. Glad to know I still have empathy. All this death and true crime is too much sometimes

  12. I am Bawling like a baby 😢😢😢😢 this is too much! This is why i left the ICU as an RN. I started taking home all of my patients and their families trauma and just couldn’t do it anymore. A million prayers to the family, I’m SOOOOO sorry you had to experience this. Life is so unfair sometimes 😢

  13. What a perfect and response that matches every thought that I literally had watching this this is Gotta be one of the hardest moments in anyone’s life telling another family that somebody’s died. It was stack from one officer in particular and the grandfather part was provocative and completely unnecessarily handled I get the whole truck thing I totally get that but the guy is there because he knows somethings happened to his granddaughter and he still hasn’t been told that she’s dead. This is certainly not a 10 out of 10 job done but equally that was not a good day that people were going to go home and relax fromand from what I’ve been watching of your channel in particular you have an awful lot of positive videos that I can actually respect so keep up the good work you guys and keep these videos coming thank you
