  1. I’m sure many have posted the same, but I was an opiate addict for 15 years. Tough love is the only way to proceed with addicts. And also, the addict has to not only want the help, but NEED it. There’s hope. Of course it’ll be difficult, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. You can do it! Screw that, you will do it! Good luck to all struggling. Life will never be “easy”, but it’s much easier without opiates.

  2. I commend any & everyone who faces their addiction to drugs or alcohol. It’s a very hard thing to do but your family & friends are very proud of you for saving your own life!! Blessings to you🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  3. "Yeah, man. I've never been that guy my whole life."
You mean you've never been the guy to do the right thing? Never been the honest guy? Amazing how this cultural idea of "being a rat" or a "snitch" manipulates people into being absolute pieces of sh!t.

  4. I was addicted to Oxy for over a decade. I got on them because of pain, but unbeknownst to me at the time I was hypersensitive to them, so they worked fabulous initially and then the blade turns and withdrawal would hit harder and faster than normal… It was horrendous. I had to look into options myself (refusing to be stuck on methadone like local docs wanted to do) and found buprenorphine. I had to get it black market, in the form of Subutex in those initial months… But I stepped down and got off the opiates, with basically no support from friends or most family (one member helped). Five years clean , no relapses.
Find the will within, be better today than you were yesterday!
All the best to all of you, people who haven't experienced it, have no idea….
But the best two things I have found to help them have a smidgeon of understanding, is explaining how it has been used as a torture method and that withdrawal literally overrides fight or flight the same way as if you were starving to death……

  5. I love my brothers & sister's across the pond but considering usa is the worlds #1 power the living conditions americans will uncaringly live by are absolutely atrocious the addicts are like nowhere else on earth theyve lost all care for life given up while gov'ment do shyt but theres ppl who aint got addiction issues i wont specify who but they live like rodents & wreck everything nice there around & generations live on hwndouts & laugh about a job in europe ya gets no gov'ment assistance if ur not helping urself americas got many genuine love ppl & many tough law wbiding & responsible parents but overwhelmingly i see more neglect towards kids from ppl on & not on drugs its absolutely atrocious how ppl behave & nobody does a thing them act like victims when ppl point out there cretin behaviour honestly rich as it is there nowhere not efen 3rd world nations as awful as usa in terms of how entitled & atrocious ppl act & irresponsible ppl act as if the power's that be are there parents i get embarrassed watching the worse of usa to many lazy dossers on alsorts of handouts while there fit more than fit to work but ENTITLEMENT is rife no offence intended

  6. I never overdosed because i dont do that stuff. But the police could never have me give up my weed man. I sat in jail 4 months for that over a roach bud on the floorboard. But i can say i can walk outside and not have to be worried about getting gunned down for being a snitch. At a point cops stopped caring about some people's safety in order to get the truth and that can get you killed. Cant put myself in that danger.

  7. Never co-operate with the pigs. They will use that against you. Never answer their questions, because they will use it to incriminate you the crime. Besides, they’ve already determine your under arrest and guilty in their eyes and minds.

  8. Thats messed up now the guy would be known as the snitch you don't use his phone and set a location up then arrest him you get someone to go in undercover and do. Buys. Yeah it would take longer but your not putting the snitch at risk. I'm a. Retired. Vice cop. I know how we did things. Like. This

  9. I'm a little over a year clean from heroin/fentanyl and being aware of the horrible things I put my Mother through and the danger I brought to her life is probably the single biggest motivation for me to stay on the right track.

  10. man don't even buy from dealers at all (plugs) they just want money from u and catch you in a addiction, feendng for their product to have control over you. then they be mad if you don't buy and try to stay coming back to sell to you or threaten if you don't. Basically stay away from those substances and the people who illegally want to sell it to you, they are not your friends. if your not bout that life, please listen. enjoy life

  11. To everyone in the comments telling their story; I think I could speak for several when I say CONGRATULATIONS, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU, YOU GOT THIS & KEEP CLIMBING YOUR SOBRIETY LADDDER! 🎉🎉

  12. They just guaranteed this man’s demise by releasing this video. It makes no difference that they blurred out faces. This is why you can’t work w the police. They don’t care if they throw you under the bus.

  13. I worked in EMS and narcan is the worst thing that has happened to society. If you’ve been given narcan twice before it shouldn’t be used a third time. Medical personnel should do all they can to treat you excluding narcan, we can’t keep interfering with natural selection and allow this scum to continue to destroy the lives of those around them.
