Genreal discussion on the KSG…And GO!
Don't stick your fingers in front of the barrel while firing seems like pretty obvious advice for any firearm.
And what's up with the KSG in the thumbnail having a magazine stuck in the feed port?
Does it fit on the KS7?
So you're putting on a hand stop, then putting part of your hand in FRONT of the hand stop… 🙄
I get it, you were proving it didn't come loose. But still, 😎
It looked in the thumbnail like it had a magazine, I'm not sure how that would work? Did my old eyes miss something?
Shitty music
I saw there is another double tube magazine bullpup shotgun, the Neostead 2000, which to completely avoid this safety hazard altogether, pumps in the opposite direction, forward-back.
Looks awesome
Where can i buy this?
How did you get rid of the wobble. I tightened the cross bolt and it’s still very wobbly
With your shoulders,is the recoil felt much?
Can’t wait to finish getting mine kitted out, I already got Magpul sights, cheek rest, check pad, butt pad, and angled grip. Next up is a Trijicon sight and a muzzle brake, because I prefer to shells I’m shooting to be bigger than me.
I love the rail, but mine has some wobble in it. Not really overly happy with it for costing as much as it does.
Too late.
I Have Trust in High Tech Customs.
The Charging Handle is Golden.
That’s exactly why I bought/installed the defender muzzle break for my ksg.
Does this guard work on the KS7?
Anyone know if you could install the Hi-Tech KSG Extended Lower Billet Picatinny Rail, and this item? I would like to have both, so a vertical foregrip could be installed with greater stability, and still get the hand stop.
Paired with a gearheadworks beast muzzle device, it would make for one sexy package
The way you had the first KSG mounted on the wall in the beginning made it look like it had a detachable magazine. I almost shit my pants up to the belt line.
You know they only made this because a couple of dumbass bubbas out there tried to do mag dumps in a very unsafe manner and blew their sweaty dick pullers off. Let Darwin's will be done and thin the herd. You can't save them all.
Is that a mag with it on the wall???
even this product isnt a very secure option, the rail is only held by one section of the plastic, and can still break over time.
I suggest buying an aluminum rail to sleeve over the entire length of the plastic rail of the forend before installing any forgrip even if it's a AFG. otherwise the only thing that should be on a plastic rail is a flash light
I think it's important to note that one of the two guys that have shot their hands with these was running a vertical forgrip that broke while firing. I would never use a vertical forgrip on mine but if you do make sure it's something that can handle the abuse of racking the pump. Maybe a solid aluminum one?
Picked one up after watching your video. A little disappointed that it doesn’t actually clamp down on the rail, but I’m still pretty happy with it. Finally have a decent way to run a light with a pressure switch. Thanks for showing.
Get a beast muzzle cover!
Should fit the RFB also.
Hey! Curtis, how are you liking those griffin armament backup sights? I got a set for $125, but the front sight had a noticeable amount of wobble side to side and had to get griffin to send me a replacement.
have you tried flipping the mount around and running it backwards?
anyone know if this accessory is compatible with mesa tactical side saddle/rail?
it really need to be a front and back handstop and not just front. The rectangle handguard from an intervention rifle would be a good idea for it.
Very cool, I have been unhappy with all the options for mounting a light until I saw this. For me the setup would be a vertical grip positioned so the thumb is in the right spot for activating the WML, which is perfect for this because activation squeezes in instead of pushing forward.
This is a MUST for tall guys last thing you want is as you go to aim your k under stress you wrap your support arm around the barrel by accident as you pull the trigger
I’m a great fan of not bowing off my fingers. But I’m also a fan of symmetry so I think you need another light on the right rail too.
Try the DP-12 by Standard Manufacturing. Bad ass gun.
You should try running a M-Lok vertical grip on the left side M-Lok slot. 👍
If you're in California you better buy all the gun parts and accessories that you can now, because if the state legislature gets its way you'll need a background check to buy any of it. Not kidding. Gr8 vid. 🔫
Shit gun waste of money
Seems just better off with the magpul AFG
On the plus side, you can only shoot your thumb off once.
Wait does that one on the wall have a mag?
Very nice upgrade to the KSG 👍
I have one and all I have done is put some magpul pic rail covers on the pump I have never had a problem with it
Had my KSG for awhile and it has ran fine. Added the cheek guard and an angle fore grip. Also shaved the back of the plastic pic rail at the back to avoid contact with the fore grip release switch so you don’t have to put as much effort into racking. The biggest problem most people have is short shucking the damn thing. Have to really drive this shotgun to manage recoil because of how light it is, but it holds all the ammo and is fun to shoot. I’ve even been successful skeet shooting with one too.
