Time for a non-WiFi heater plugged into a smart plug/outlet.
I noticed they recalled these heaters almost 600,000 but only 113 reports of fire or over heating?
seems like overreaction to me….
Another downfall with battery products.

Wow, the echo gas powered unit is interesting. I imagine one would feel warm yet not fuzzy anymore. Really not funny however that’s some serious stuff especially when you’re talking about a combustible liquid nearby.
This is why you ALWAYS TAKE BATTERIES OUT of equipment before you even think of putting your ANYTHING near the gutting or moving parts

I want that bauer sprayer, but couldn't justify the price tag. glad to know I didn't waste my money.
Get a HomeKit/alexa/whatever outlet or “smart plug” that goes overtop of your outlet to give you home automation on/off control of anything plugged into it. Leave the heater settings on whatever you want, make sure it’s a model that has persistent settings (you don’t need to set it each time you turn it on) that way you can control it by controlling the outlet.
These companies need to actually go back to doing research and development instead of building things selling it and having no clue how it's going to work
Echo is garbage. The hand tools for kids my granddaughter has a set with wheelbarrow.
I have a place in Gardner montana. Actually the old town name is jardine. Cold is when it's negative out. Lucky if I can keep the place at 50 degrees with the wood stove going.

I got one of the recall notices from Amazon for a Anker power brick but my serial number was worn away and they pretty much told me to piss off. 🤷🏿♀️
Last year I had a Harbor Freight heater catch fire. My son was using it in his room and the control knobs somehow caught on fire. Good thing he caught it. I reviewed the product and Harbor Freight did not publish my review about it being a fire hazard. However, they did contact me and offered a full refund, but they never sent it, despite numerous emails to the representative. This was the dish heater. Be careful. I would NOT buy that if I were you.
JUST. DO. NOT. USE. Space Heaters! Oil filled heaters are the best and safest!
