  1. Wow, the echo gas powered unit is interesting. I imagine one would feel warm yet not fuzzy anymore. Really not funny however that’s some serious stuff especially when you’re talking about a combustible liquid nearby.

  2. Get a HomeKit/alexa/whatever outlet or “smart plug” that goes overtop of your outlet to give you home automation on/off control of anything plugged into it. Leave the heater settings on whatever you want, make sure it’s a model that has persistent settings (you don’t need to set it each time you turn it on) that way you can control it by controlling the outlet.

  3. Last year I had a Harbor Freight heater catch fire. My son was using it in his room and the control knobs somehow caught on fire. Good thing he caught it. I reviewed the product and Harbor Freight did not publish my review about it being a fire hazard. However, they did contact me and offered a full refund, but they never sent it, despite numerous emails to the representative. This was the dish heater. Be careful. I would NOT buy that if I were you.
