My gma is 84 and is still a much better driver than most other people around her age. I still believe some type of cognition test should be performed at a certain age or maybe if a doc notices certain symptoms. I’ve seen too many elderly drivers that seem extremely unaware of where they are and don’t seem to understand how their driving is affecting the cars around them.
