Every team that has won the cup since 2023 has had amazing goaltending. Hunter Shepard, Hunter Shepard, Arturs Silovs. Even Kakhonen was extremely good.

That game was rough to watch from a Checkers perspective. They refused to play to the conditions, and insisted on over passing and stick handling when the ice was absolute garbage. Canucks deserved the win though. Congrats.

The camera crew in charlotte was really not on it’s A-game tonight, a lot of weird camerawork and a lot of poor feed direction. I guess it’s to be expected of an AHL broadcast but it feels especially bad coming off of 3 games with the Abbotsford camera team which felt relatively professional. Wish they could’ve brought them in for this game…
The Canucks play by play guy is pretty good, WAY better than the guy on the Checkers feed
