  1. not defending the dude at all, but this cop making a big deal about the idling car to begin with was pretty ridiculous then him crying about a bloody nose saying thats why hes being harsh with the sister? homie you signed up for this job lol, that said all dude needed to do was apologize and turn the car off.

  2. The officer is trying to escalate a very minor infraction. The detainee isnt helping the situation. Officer could have gave him a warning and let him go. Both parties did nothing to deescalate the situation.

  3. Sorry, but this guy seemed pretty reasonable and was willing to provide paperwork, good police officers could have easily avoided all of it by being a little more patient. Hard to understand how these cops, at 2:25 he willing to show ID and paperwork and by 4:00 they were physically detaining him. Cop statement "why are you making such a big deal about this?" when he clearly wasn't, is when they lost his trust and my respect. Likely his later incident was based on his distrust from this interaction that should never have escalated.

  4. i despise people soooo much that just leave a car running for no reason…. the noise & stench is just disgusting!

but that cop overdid his powertrip, like the blue mafia does -.- shameful!

  5. First of all, how would anybody in the right mind know that that is a crime. That shut his vehicle off as simple as that, but the police force and the guy racked up with a bunch of charges. Totally unnecessary and ridiculous.

  6. Half of Montana would be issued a citation under that law. Nobody turns their vehicle off for 15 minutes to run into someone's house in winter. Takes too long to warm it back up. But they wouldn't run from the cops either.

  7. It is astonishing that there needs to be a law to let people know not to leave a vehicle idling with the window open (thus the car is unlocked). This is something an adult would know instinctively…. I guess the boy ( 36 yrs old) who left his keys in the vehicle has some growing up to do. Sister should put her son in danger with her baby brother who knows $#!t.

  8. It is important to remember that cops have about 25-30 lbs of equipment on them, so they are at a disadvantage in a foot chase. Imaging trying run 100 yards ( or more) with 25 lbs of kittyltter strapped to ya. 😳

  9. When I was in the military we were being drunk and stupid on base. When the MPs showed up I tried to feed one of the MPs dog a French fry and pat his head. Before I knew it I was kissing the top of the MP's car. I didn't resist and the MP let me finish my fries and I slept it off in lockup for the night with the rest of my friends. We got extra duty but we kept our mouths shut, our heads down and did our extra duty. I learned a very valuable lesson… never, never, never touch a working dog of any kind. Just don't. That was 30 years ago. I have a service dog now and I've had people try to pet her (without asking) and I let them know that it is a misdemeanor to interfere with a service dog. She's a 125 pound Rott/Lab mix. I felt that officer's "Get your fucking hands off my dog!" vibe for sure.

  10. Another big mouth, arrogant “person of color”, know it all genius criminal, non compliant, trying to be in control “of the situation” needing to go to the slammer, (imagine that)?

  11. How on earth can a police officer request identification for having a key inside the vehicle on PRIVATE PROPERTY, he's happy to provide insurance and registration but he insists that he committed a crime and cannot provide which law he has broken. You have to provide a reason for a citation, why would you not provide that reason to the citizen? Absolute dogshit cop.

  12. Hot take: This is a cut and dry case of bad policing. Officer did not act in a way becoming of law enforcement. He clearly realizes that this guy doesn't know the legality of leaving an unattended vehicle that is left on at the very start of the confrontation. While I don't think it's the responsibility of every officer to educate citizens on the laws, if this officer just said in the first 15 seconds, "Hey I've been looking for you for 10 minutes, you know it's illegal to leave a vehicle running unattended, I'll need you to turn it off or leave if you're leaving". Instead, he somehow keeps skirting around the main issue, bringing up related but unnecessary consequences of the offense like he's trying to get the guy to admit wrongdoing or escalate the situation by not being clear. It wasn't until the suspect was fed up with the conversation and at a point where trying to give lawful orders would have a low success rate that the officer informed him of the potential charge. A lot of people saying the guy could have just turned his car off, but again, with no verbal confirmation that he was breaking the law why would he? This citizen handling 101. This could have been a simple warning, an easy citation but this officer was not direct enough. Feel free to disagree

  13. Guy doesn't live there, takes up a spot from an actual tenant, takes his sweet a** time, and breaks the law by leaving the car running. Yet you 🤡s wanna blame the cop doing his job.

  14. The officer started this one. He could have easily just told him he can’t leave car running and asked him to come out and turn it off. He approached with a negative attitude and tone. I’m sure it’s not common knowledgr to most citizens.
