I absolutely HATE the way they painted/communicated this video intro. I truely thought she was using/intoxicated. It is a safe (and likely) assumption that testing showed otherwise, due to the absense of specific charges. However, the volunteering of untreated bipolar was t a surprise. Im no DR but, 'type I' would be my very firm guess, based on my experiences of both types….from bio family & in laws, friends, and ex/current husband!
The way that she was yelling/screaming and excessively repeating commands to her poor sweet babies…..that's where type I highlights itself.
And obviously the cops didn't smell alcohol so they were confused but I never heard them ask the right questions. Nor did I see them do what should have been done while mom was on the phone! They should have told her okay since we can't find the keys let's go ahead and have you grab your baby girls and we'll just put you in the back to keep you warm until your mom gets here.
If needed, they could have assured her with cameras in the car and neck…as protection….call a female officer….reminder that there is a metal seperatir in between them and police…..Etc
Those babies should have NEVER been left alone in the car with her UNTIL they could figure things out! Plenty of parents have put their children in the car with them and killed their babies and potentially themselves! What's the first thing that I thought was going to end up being the results of it and is terrifying to know that they didn't do better with mental health

The officer went above and beyond and I’m so glad, I don’t think she’s mentally stable enough even to have her kids especially if she uses them like she did, that was just so heartbreaking for the daughter being forced to ask that.

If what she said was true, about her dad doing that to her…that explains a lot.
She definitely made a mistake spitting on him. That definitely started something that the cops can justify their actions. But however, I think the cop was being a huge pain to her before any of that happened. It’s a lot easier to find a way around the situation instead of taking time to ask for her ID and to leave the door open. Not saying cop was doing something illegal. Just stupid and a little more of a pain to them.

Wow, when she kept saying 'Ask him again!' was just heartbreaking. Those poor kids shouldn't have to go through stuff like this. they deserve better.
I don’t cry that much, but this shit brought me to tears. I cannot believe that she is still able to be with her kids and have custody of her kids because I have a weird feeling that this happens behind closed doors all the time with how she was treating them in front of the police officers. I just pray that those kids ended up staying with their grandma or found a better home.
