  1. Stop being irresponsible and using the phrase “assault rifle” . There is no such thing. It is a libtard term for a bigger gun. That term is only used to illicit fear

  2. Those parents are equally to blame for those murders, ignorant lazy POS. And how tf did he manage to escape from police doing like 10 mph? Incompetent police as usual, what a surprise.

  3. Oh damn. I'm gonna comment again, despite having just done so… Because if you're wearing nothing but a dress, you're wearing a dress. Unless you mean he didn't bother with his makeup or perfume or panties that day… Seems a bit like.. irrelevant… or not? I dunno.

  4. I moved to CO yrs ago, I’m not at all surprised they ignored this guy. They’ve got the power to commit him but the hospital will release him in 48hr!! Little girl I babysat started having the police at the elementary school by middle school she was threatening to shoot up the school lying saying her little brother was going to stab another kid and kill them. Nobody believed the lie about her brother and when the police stopped responding to those lies she started saying she was going to kill herself or she’d take 5 Benadryl and tell them she took the whole bottle along w a bunch more crazy stuff. The cops would take her to the psychiatric ward and they’d send her home the same day or only keep her for the weekend. This was her go to whenever she didn’t want to do something or was being grounded for doing something. This went on until last yr when she arranged to have her brothers kidnapped, them being missing was on tv in CO. The person ended up turning them in to police the next day, it’s hasn’t gone to court yet, not sure it will because the police said the sister forced them to go w them and they weren’t harmed & brought back, but they put her in some detention program. She escaped 2x and took bunch of kids w her, but the place is in the middle of mountain desert so they didn’t get far. You can refuse therapy here, but even minors can check themselves into the hospital. So she’d just get released and call another ambulance the next day costing her dad hundreds of thousands of dollars. Which in CO they can also garnish your wages, so he’s got bills from 15 different hospitals and ambulance bills for transportation to all of these hospitals!! She refused counseling smh

  5. I call BS on this one. The video clearly shows the police following right behind him. He is not even going fast. Where is the rest of the video ? Only the most inept cops would say they don't know who or where the driver was. This smells like another false flag mass shooting event. You know the type of event to inflame the public perception on owning firearms. So they can disarm Americans. They just keep rolling them out. SMH

  6. For society, he should be in prison. But this is a sad story. He obviously needed help and it didn't seem like anyone really cared enough to do anything. Maybe things could've been different had he gotten that help. Then again, maybe not.

  7. Welcome to the US mental health system. I wish I could say Travis' story was unique. It's not. Why?

It's next to impossible to force care in an adult. People have the right to be crazy. The standard for taking away those rights is very, very high. Travis was over 18, his parents had no say in anything.

There are barely enough mental health beds to treat everyone who needs it, even if he had accepted treatment. A 9 day stay is actually exceptional. A lot are released after a 72 hour hold unless a judge signs an order. Again, the standard would have had to be very high to do that.

Moreover, it's hard to medicate delusional thoughts. They are as real as any thought you or I might have. If you try to artificially enforce reality on someone with delusional thinking, you'll scare them or anger them, and they can lash out.

Sadly, very sadly, 4 beautiful people had to die, and this guy had to go to prison to get care. This is not unique at all.

  8. i answer phones in a courthouse as part of my job and ive had more than a couple of callers that sounded just. just exactly like some of travis's videos. it's heartbreaking.

  9. He should have been taken to psychiatric care the second he said he wanted to talk to Trump, anyone who wants anything to do with that felon is clearly insane and dangerous.

  10. This story makes me so sad. Travis clearly needed help, and nobody was able to provide that for him, resulting in the loss of innocent lives, including the culprits'. Another example of the the system failing the mentally struggling…

  11. I wish the Mental Health crisis is looked at more deeply, A lot of places do not treat ppl right at all.. My point IS People blame GUNS ,WHEN ITS THE MENTAL HEALTH INDUSTRY AND STIGMA, and it is a crisis related to mental health. It needs to be looked at CLOSER and if needed forcefully treated to avoid tragety if its seen they have tendencies like this, to avoid tragedy. Bc no one logically does this sanely.
