  1. Again, Van, you are wrong. Going to Mass is a fundamental requirement, as is confession. As a non-Catholic, you choose how you live, and when your time comes to stand before God, then you will know.

  2. Feminist got mad because he said the most important role for a woman is a homemaker. I totally agree and feel so blessed that I am able to be a stay at home housewife.

  3. I don't hope anymore, I pray that more people read the Bible, the book so many pretend to follow, but then make up all sorts of excuses for not. The Bible states that debt is slavery and straight up tells people to no longer go into debt after they are saved by Jesus. There are many different kinds of debt slavery, when you get yourself out you need to stay out. I got myself into a lot of debt & worked my behind off to get out of that debt & I intend to never be in that slavery again. People are free to worship whatever physical things they want to & go into debt slavery over that, but when you really realize what the Bible says you will understand all this credit stuff here in the "freeist" country in the world, doesn't help set you free… I left the church because too many people were worshipping their pastor rather than worshipping who they should. Iron sharpening iron… is what the current independent creative space sees themselves as they don't follow the mainstream comics, hollywood, etc. I think IronAge (dot) Media is working towards a similar populist age rather than the aristocracy elites trying to push all this garbage.

  4. Around the 23 minute mark you talked about the money they have. So you know, most Catholic families that attend the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM), the wife does stay home and the husband works. Some of them have $$$$ some of them live paycheck to paycheck. Since Harrison's family does attend the TLM I think his wife would be a stay at home mom regardless of what he did… Just so you have some context there too.

  5. The problem is everyone who has issues with this speech do not hear what he says and it is actually hatred/anger towards God is where they have issues. They also don’t listen to what he says and subvert the context of what he is saying. I guarantee 110% when it comes to decisions with the children in the house his wife is the judge, prosecutor and/or the defense and he is only the jury. I believe in god and have believed in him for as far back as I can remember but I haven’t been in church for some years, finding a church that I can go to and grow is very hard to find. I don’t even know what denomination I am, all I know is when I’m with Jesus let everything else go.

  6. in the "trying to be fair" part and Privilege – if a husband is sitting at home drinking because he cannot find an opportunity – he is both hiding his light under a bushel – and not fulfilling his role in that sacred bond. He can't do as much about the lack of opportunity as he can about choosing to drink and wallow in misery.

to the – praying through another person in Catholicism. The only way I can understand this is the Sacrament of Confession – and like all Sacraments, it is not something you do alone. A Catholic understanding of sin includes knowing it is a sin, and willfully committing it (applies to sins of ommission as well – choosing not to do something). So in order to be rid of this sin, in a contrite and truthful way you must make this confession to a priest, that means to also let a learned 3rd party know about the sin (one who is bound to never tell anyone about it). This is a hurdle that allows for the Sacrament of forgiveness to happen. The priest can help determine if the confession is earnest. He can help guide you to the proper acts of contrition. For a child or someone with smaller venial sins, this might just be a couple of prayers and solemn intent to become better. For someone with significantly larger sins, it will likely include forms of reparation.

All of the rest is praying to God, or possibly asking for the intercession of Mary or a saint on your behalf.

Some even leave the Church and abandon God – I don't take it as him saying that all who leave the Church abandon God, but that for many it is part and parcel.

Not seeking to convert you (yet:-) ) just saying you should maybe give a local parish a chance….

  7. I'm always amazed at the hypocrisy from the left when you don't agree with them they want to cancel you and make you lose your job 🤷‍♂️ I don't agree with the left but, that doesn't mean I want to cancel them and make them lose their job ❗🙄 I just simply don't agree❗🤦‍♂️

  8. I agree with some of the things he is talking about but I don’t agree with what he said about someone not being saved even if your spouse is Because my father didn’t except the Lord Jesus Christ until about five years before he died My mother got saved in her early 20’s and it was because of my father’s mother that my mom excepted Jesus Christ So I don’t think both people have to be saved to make it and have a good family Because my mother and father were like night and day how they lived and they was married for almost 70 years

  9. Sir you did a wonderful job in showing us this, and you are so right when you changed from they to we.. I had to raise my hand to that one.. “we” ie me like to take the easy route sometimes as well..

  10. As a black woman who gave up a thriving career to make sure I poured myself and my faith into my kids, I am thrilled to see younger people keep first things first. We spend more time on the other side of eternity. God will reward you. Satan wants nothing more than for people to focus on self-aggrandization and money. Money is not bad…just the love of money above God. We need more men with lots of testosterone!!! Come on men!

  11. Hey brother, love the show! Just one quick correction. Catholics DO NOT believe that our prayers have to first go through a man before to be heard by God. Catholics party directly to God, ask the Saints to pray for them and ask each other to pray for our intentions. The Catholic Church never taught otherwise. Sadly this often misrepresented. Thanks for your honesty in your platform brother. God bless!

  12. All he did was say the Catholic Social teachings that the church believes in. Its the narrow path Jesus said that you must walk if you want salvation. Most of his critics arent even Catholics or Catholics who do not know thier own religion.

  13. This was beautiful! This man, this Christian man, this ALPHA man needs to be heard and if more people were like this man the world would be a better place.

  14. The left forces people to accept the sexualization of children and honor gay dudes who dress like nuns and dance on stage using an upside down cross as a stripper pole at family-oriented events like at a Dodgers game but want to ruin this MAN'S life for speaking his opinion on family and faith at a Catholic school…our great country has become unrecognizable joke!

  15. The US, according to a 2019 pew research study, has the highest rate of families headed by single-parents in the world. That is why our society is so dysfunctional. We women have been told a lie — that we can do it all. We are even told we can be a mother and a father. He is right. Society has lied to us, and the liberal left is doing us no favors. I was a single parent, so I understand what he is saying firsthand.

  16. Catholics don’t believe your prayers should go through another man. What Catholics believe is that people can ask other people to pray for them. This is called intercession. We go directly to God, but we can also ask people to intercede on our behalf. It is just like you might go to your pastor and ask him to pray for you. So we believe people in heaven are even better to go to than people on earth, although we also ask people on earth to pray for us, too. You see Catholics have it both and… We go directly to God and we ask other people to pray for us. We all need all the prayer we can get as we await our heavenly life.

  17. So, what most people fail to do is use context. Also, only want the 1st Amendment to work for them and not others. So Harrison, being an American, used his freedom of religion. He chose to be of Catholic faith. Ok, so he becomes famous for being the kicker of the Kansas City Chiefs and winning superbowls with them. So, a privately owned Catholic College asked him to speak to their Graduates. A CATHOLIC Man talking to a CATHOLIC College…ok, so nothing seems wrong so far. So since he is Catholic and it's a Catholic college, that means they read the Bible. In the Bible, especially Titus 2:5, it states what the role of a woman in a relationship is… So a Catholic Man using the Book all Catholics read from using the word as reference spoke to a Catholic College about things defined in the Book deemed absolute in thier religion. So the issue here is that people who may not be Christians or even Catholics made the speech about them and not about what it actually was…so in turn forgot that we have the right to practice out religion. This man did nothing wrong. Then, these same people made the speech about them, added words to it said we are offended with out having comprehension to understand the speech was for fellow Catholics a religion they chose not to be so of course thier ideals will be different. To them it's only ok to be different when it benefits them. Now this man who did nothing wrong has a petition to fire him for doing nothing wrong and let alone there are laws the prevent you from being fired for your religious beliefs. Especially when this speech was not done in correlation with the NFL or Kansas City Chiefs but rather in is own private life as Harrison Butker the Catholic Man and not as Harrison Butker the Kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs.
