  1. It should be the responsibility of the older generations to take the younger generation under their wing and build them up so they can take over when they retire.

How about instead of tearing down young men, you listen to their problems and rebuild them before it's too late?

  2. decadence, how to fix it. its a tough one. my advice: separate the children who want to excel from the children who want to be entertained as soon as possible. that way, it will be easier to let the clever kids learn and work and thrive. the kids who seek pleasure only….welllll..we always need people in fastfood ey!

  3. You have left them nothing sadly…..theyll get what they need one way or another. Socialism probably will force your wealth out of hiding.

Again. Dont blame them…You left them nothing

  4. This is the dumbest segment. They are approaching the conversation like kids are just complaining for no reason while ignoring how historically bad things are right now. That first woman is what’s wrong with the world. Just talking out or her 🫏! What should be addressed is how our current government is purposely bestroying their future and their hope for one!

  5. I don’t understand the problem with high prices, all you have to do is get a higher paying job. If that’s not possible that’s why you have a 401k to pull from. We need to stop blaming high prices, corporations need to keep growing so the prices have to be high. Problem solved 🤷‍♂️

  6. They in crisis because of the greed of this worlds top earners taking everything and paying people crap. Then overpriced housing and cars. Sharing. A thing humanity always seems to struggle with.

  7. As a now retired self-employed baby boomer who has paid high private post-secondary school loans, and spent much time "between jobs", I can say that every generation has faced a poor job market and survived, and later progressed. The seventies was one long stagflation/recession through 1983. I did not buy a home that I could keep until I was age 40, yet thanks to a roaring stock market since 1983, and thrifty habits, I have finally accumulated decent home equity and savings. It can be done. You sometimes have to use roommates, drive old cars, minimize credit use, forget vacations, etc. until you get your savings pattern started.

  8. Look to Europe. The US puts the future of the nation in crippling debt if they attempt to contribute to society by going for higher education? You go bankrupt if you get cancer? The government should be addressing the issues that are resulting in the decline of the nation. At some point people will leave the US in droves. Prospects for Gen Alpha look even worse than Gen Z. Major changes are needed.

  9. Feels like us Gen Z should just leave the US since most of the boomers don’t like us. Let’s see how they handle it if the youth is gone. It’d be a nice social experiment

  10. Financing things and getting things on credit is a huge commitment and sacrifice. You have to be able to pay it back and realize you're not going to have as much available money as you did before you borrowed. .Youngsters just don't know how to manage their money. Also, not a whole lot of self investment going on these days because people are too busy envying each other on social media. Wake up people.

  11. Lower interest rates, give a $15 minimum wage, restrict H1Bs, keep baseline 10% tariff, break up private equity's stranglehold on the housing market, reform alimony and divorce laws, lockbox social security and Medicare funds, end $150 billion a year benefits for illegals, expand military to at least 4% GDP, and yes tax hoarded derivatives that currently amount to well over $160 trillion (thr US having underfunded infrastructure by over $2 trillion, the military by over $2.5 trillion, social security and Medicare by $3 trillion).
Oh, and raise taxes on the woke rich, who can afford to finance and vote for every stupid insane leftist policy out there, so they can afford to pay their share too

  12. That lady in the pink dress I completely wrong. Even the worst apartments be almost 1,000! Our generation is the one working the 60 hours a week just to get by. It people her age who f up the economy and tryna say we lazy like wtf🤦🏾‍♂️20 dollars an hours ain’t nothing nomore, 15 years ago that would have work but not now.

  13. Surprised but happy to see the comments are not bashing Gen Z. It is tough out there for the younger generation just trying to get started. Luxuries are cheap while necessities are expensive. Rent, Healthcare and groceries are the expensive items for most people today.

  14. I'm genX and there is a problem for them financially worse than the last four generations. We exploit the least money savvy and then mock them for their problems with money. If you keep it up, you're going to have a bunch of pro communists on your hands.

  15. Nobody that I know is going out of their way to live lavish lifestyles. Your television network is notorious for skipping over the most devastating issues affecting younger generations.

Inflation is the top issue. Part time jobs going up while full time jobs going down is the second issue.

Employers are hesitant to pay younger generations livable wages and the pennies that are paid to them are being inflated away. Why? Because the older generations don’t know how to balance the fiscal budget, and this necessitates inflation (an expansion of the money supply and credit without an increase in goods and services on the shelf – resulting in more money chasing fewer goods and services).

It’s a quarter life crisis because good jobs are scarce and most of the work available is part time, the value of the dollar is going down, and we have to retire 70 million baby boomers that demand cost of living adjustments even though Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid already consume 70% of the fiscal budget.

You’re right—this is a problem of entitlement. But Generation Z aren’t the ones acting spoiled.

  16. Its bad for us Millenials too! Lost my career due to COVID. In the time it took me to find a new job, housing nearly doubled in price!
Now my roommate and I gotta go our own ways, and without 2.2 incomes, you're screwed!
I voted MAGA 3x times, and I am very disappointed in this Admin so far!
Its all MIGA. Gulf of America. Omnibus BS.
I voted for Americans 1st. As in our tax dollars go to benefitting us and not more of the same!
