2nd time watching this since a year ago or more. Just as beautiful, emotional, (yes I had the tissues out). Could easily watch it again – absolutely loved it.

Oh, my, what a lovely film. I had never heard of it and just watched it for the first time. Great story and very well done! And the music was beautiful. Maggie Smith outdid herself with this one. I’m going to have to find out what year it was filmed! Bravo! Bravo! She was such a lady!

I've just watched this film for the first time, then immediately watched the whole thing again a second time!
Who do you love the most–Jacob and Susan; Tolly and his grandmother; Fred and Rose; Tolly, his mother and grandmother at the end; Tolly and his father at the end; the Captain, Susan and Jacob; Mariah, so beautiful in her jewels? (And what was up with the dog?)
I miss her too just like anyone else how anybody else does
No jewels for the dreamy youngling, after all.
