Mayweather was able to land his counter more officiant cause he focused on scoring points and not causing damage. Damaging shots will end up landing . But his main focus was to win rounds. Unlike most boxers that want to cause damage and will put more into their punches making it harder for them to avoid the counter. He took the hurt business and made it more pretty.
I can’t believe they never even suggested or alternate the 10 point must system. The least they could of done was enforce judges to score 10-10 rounds instead of giving close rounds to the boxers they’re leaning more toward winning. They’re human it naturally happens.
