Going off on a tangent here: STREAMING IS DANGEROUS BUY MEDIA!!!!!!!!
The Willow TV show that you mentioned is a perfect example of why it's not only irresponsible, but actually dangerous that everything is streaming, and we have a whole generation and a half now that doesn't know about "OWNING YOUR MEDIA". The fact everyone owns nothing and streams everything is insane, and dangerous. Here is why it's dangerous. You are giving up all control over to corporations, that are almost always extreme woke progressives. That means they have the control much like they did with Willow just to take it down, and make it not available for anyone to watch. Willow was a bad show, but what if they start doing that with shows they deem as "NON PC" or "Racist" or "Homophobic" movies like say "Superbad (2008)" because Superbad is homophobic and misogynistic. What if they take down "American history X" because it promotes white power? What if they stop showing "Chasing Amy" because it pushes a false idea that Lesbian women just need a good man? Do you get my point? Look at movies pre 2016 compared to post 2016 up to today in 2024, all movies are woke and pushing ideological agendas, so we have streaming companies where you pay for a subscription, but don't actually pay per show, or movie. This means that they can actually create a lot of garbage woke nonsense, and just enough good shows to keep you subscribed, and as NEtflix, Amazon, both woke btw keep pushing woke stuff they will need to make less and less good stuff but keep your subscription, and eventually all new content will be complete nonsense, woke, trash,a nd all the old movies will be removed because they are not acceptable viewing anymore, and there we are. We are almost there. Also because everyone streams everything they stop selling physical media, so you can't actually own anything new. I don't get why literally no one is talking about this except me. I mean they have Drag Queen story hour in kindergarten, do you think they won't do what I'm saying? Of course they will it's coming, you can already see it coming with the amount of DEI, Woke movies coming out. There has to be a LGBT person of color in every movie, along with an all black cast, except for the interstitial relationships. We must check boxes instead of writing a good script and hiring good actors. We must remake every movie, except gender and race swap everyone. That is happening now, so soon that is the only options we will have, and it's all because we allow corporations to control and dictate what we consume.
That is why I own over 12 thousand movies all ripped to digital, backed up on a 60TB raid array, and then I have an identical 60TB raid array on another computer that is a backup or mirrored image, then I have all that backed up onto the cloud which took 8 months to upload of straight uploading. I use Kodi as a font end and I do not stream, no netflix sub, no anything sub, just internet, and my media I own and have ripped to digital. STOP THE STREAMING, IT'S NOT GOING TO END WELL!
I have the show downloaded thankfully. Even though it's bad I don't like when media is just deleted from history.
Davis should be THANKFUL for whatever higher power he believes in that this abomination of a tv show won't continue.

I loved the show myself which I have the original on VHS since I was little. They could of least did a chapter 2 because it was just getting started. The critics gave decent ratings too of the show. I think everyone was expecting blood and violence like the movie but forget its the Disney channel. Plus they were given only 6 months to shoot 8 hour long episodes in different locations. Plus we were at the ass end of a epidemic so ppl were getting out more. But i respect everyone's opinion cause we all have shows we love or hate like Friends was a 💩 show of recycled garbage same storys each season just happening to different characters 😂. Omg gay couples in medival times as if that didnt really happen😂. Hopefully Ron Howard can get a Netflix deal use the ending and do a proper version that ppl will still complain about❤

If Disney+ wants to succeeed more than they want to lecture audiences about social agendas (Kathleen clearly does not) then for the love of God, stop hiring social progressive writers! Seriously. It's that's simple. Hire people who love creating great stories and take joy and pleasure in creating fan-service more than pushing their politics on audiences
Warwick Davis said that Mark Hamill did not lean into his character as a younger Luke but rather as a mature Luke, and that he, Warwick, chose to do the same. The problem with that, Warwick, is Mark wanted to lean into the role as his younger self, but the writer and producers rejected that and wanted to subvert Luke into a weaker character so that they could replace him by a powerful woman. Mark said that Luke would never say or do the things he was doing. And he was right. So if anything, Warwick, it could have been best to play yourself as the younger Willow.
At this point, is it possible for George Lucas to buy back all of his content?

My GF really wanted to watch this, so we got the kids to bed, Friday night, I cooked her a nice dinner, bottle of wine, we sit down to watch it, ten minutes In she says "this is boring" so we switch it off and watch something else.
HOW do they manage to screw these things.

He was superb in 'Life is Short' – I loved that iteration of Warwick. I didn't see Willow or the original- not my thing, but I have caught his face on 'Tenable' recently- he looks haunted, bitter and gaunt.
