I have two characters lvl 220-230. Both have 50 Vigor. I can get them 60 during the dlc because they both do big damage and a lot of status (Frenzy & Ice)

Idk how none of the sources you used mentioned that the DLC has a separate progression system from the base game. You don't need to level up for this.

Saying thta gamers are spoiled is retrded. The companies are spoiled. They go in the office tell people to design some apatrarily described horse sht, then the people working design the game because they are good at their job, and now the devs in ofice are not that good at their job, so they can't just be told what to do in a vauge way, then accomplish it. The people giving the orders actually have to put in work, and design things too, so now sht is taking 10 years because all of them uck at their job. The game devs and the people giving them the sht to make are the ones that are spoiled. All im doing is expecting them to complete games they design, and not scam the prices, or rationalize some dumb ahs reason why all they can do is launch new consolses instead of new games. For anybody who didn’t know elden ring was supposed to have two dlcs but fromsoft decided to merge them both to one big expansion or, at least the two dlcs was their original plan

It looks like a wonderful experience and expansion. But I didn’t play the base jame & won’t play this. I don’t have the skill or the time to spend an hour on a boss. I’ll happily watch someone else have a blast & save myself time and heartache. I say this because you said we are all going to be playing this… nope. We are not. I’ll watch someone who has the ability and the time to take this on.
Idk why luke downplayed the reason why they’re not showing so much… it’s elden ring they have full trust… why would they show so much of the dlc when the original game only had like 3 trailers and maybe one or two gameplay footage… which doesn’t show anything past stormveil castle I believe
That point about being spoiled by exceptional games is pretty fair. I remember feeling that way about Hollow Knight: after I played it in 2017 and thinking it was one of the best games I’d ever played, I made the mistake of going and buying a load of other metroidvanias hoping they’d provide the same kind of experience. In the end though, out of the 8 or 9 games I bought, the only one that really came close to matching HK for me was Salt & Sanctuary. The rest were kind of just okay, like 5 to 7 out of 10, in my opinion.

I’m gonna be buying Elden Ring and doing my first playthrough of it this month, so it’ll be some time before I get to this. Nonetheless, I’m extremely excited for all of it. I’ve not played a FromSoft game for the first time since getting into the series with the DS trilogy in 2018.
Just so you know the dlc has a separate leveling system so level 150 is fine for the dlc the reason that he wasn’t doing much damage is because of the new separate leveling system in the dlc
I’ve played this game when it launched and did everything in the game and honestly this game is not as good as people try to pretend it to be. The open world does not work well for demons souls like games and it makes the game become tedious and boring. I will definitely not get the dlc. You can’t pay me to play this again.
