The more you lift, the longer your recovery time.
contradictory… he was hitting a pr every week hes already mentioned that he obviously just upped the steriods
Eddie is the first to have an idea to do 500 kg. So, no Eddie , no Hafthor doing, trying to lift the same, well 1 kg more and the rest is history now… Eddie started it all, so hats up to him !!!!
I was stuck at 70kg 🤣
we always wanna do more, taking more rest seems counterintuitive
yeah noob mistake, only taking 7 days of rest instead of 10…
more dumbass excuses from Eddie Hall
Coming from an expert like Hall means something. I only got up to 475lbs which is nothing to these guys's my goal was 500lbs. But it wasn't meant to be that was years ago.
What are those elements?
So many lifters hit muscle groups with far too much regularity. It's such a common pitfall. Listen to Eddie, rest is paramount.
lifting too much is very bad for your health, accept if you want to join a competition or something, but for normal lifters just lift what improves your back muscles without damaging your joints and bones.
Blossom trying to say blood clots and heart attacks are as much of a part of every woman’s health struggle as menstruation, cervical and ovarian problems is actually hilarious
At CrossFit we usually get DL every week, but MAX DL we do once in 4 months…
Most people do this when they start working out and quit.
Absolutely legendary Eddie for giving this advice.
My 1 rep max at 156lbs was 415lbs. The fact that he can outdeadlift me even if you made his kg into lbs is crazy like 420kg to 420lbs…
❤️
Its true
I lifted 155kg 3 days back and thought i will lift 160kg today
But i stucked at 150kg
Colton seems to not have that restriction
And here I is… Being happy if I can deadlift a whoppin' 70kg! (I have health issues as well, so I can't lift too heavy. Not that it would be much heavier otherwise). But for real ''im stuck at 420'' damn bro!
Eddie Hall is a great guy!
What is breaking it down into 2 elements mean?
2 elements are rest and lighter weight
What 2 elements?
it took him that long to learn about periodization?
Heil Hathor🥱
Then he started roiding and doing Coke to the degree that it almost killed him
Combining science and grunt, impressive.
This video isn't for you, go do your deadlifts. He did this up til he was at 420kg, not 120kg
Do you mean MaX DL every week, or RIR 0 every week?
This is good to know, thanks!
this sounds a lot like what Mike Mentzer would've preached. may he rest in peace.
2 years stuck in the same weight, and some people whine about not getting stronger in 2 weeks.
That's ten days on a heavy load of PEDs as well… crazy
Basically all of us are weaker than Eddie and won’t be pulling that shear weight anytime soon, so we likely won’t hit a wall for a looooong time if we’re going for PR every week
Recovery is very important
See what im saying? I knew i wasnt recovering for shit🤦🏼🤦🏼 thanks for posting this mate
The dedication to his craft is crazy
Pft look at this guy, he probably thinks he's the strongest man in the world.

This is what Mitch is doing breaking it down into segments of the movement
