  1. This game is junk. Player agency was an afterthought for its creators, from abilities that don't do what they're advertised to do, to quests that have no understandable conclusion, to the constant inane interruptions players are bombarded with.

  2. I was so excited to play this game i bought it on my birthday. I was so disappointed, it didn’t feel complete, poor way to deliver skills. It should’ve felt like an upgrade but it was a downgrade to me, the excitement died quickly. Now im scared to be excited about new releases

  3. Over 60 hours in, & a smile still creeps across my face when I'm wandering in the dark and see an ogre's eyes glowing up ahead. I'm grinding every bit of fun I can out of this, just like Dark Arisen.

  4. So many drastic varying opinions some very little in between its either really bad with low enemy vareity bad story and boring dated quest design or really good and enjoyable

  5. This game is a huge downgrade from DD1 the creativity of character building is gutted and the worlds characters are blander than plain oatmeal. Performance aside (which is atrocious and inexcusable for a $95CDN game) DD2 may be a reimagining of Dragons Dogma but it in no ways deserves to be called a sequel. 12 years later and there is literally 0 improvement or innovation aside from graphics. The potential this game had was limitless and they took the road most travelled instead of creating something unique and innovative. So many systems gutted and inventory management is a nightmare now.

  6. I play lots of games. Dragons Dogma 2 felt like a ‘grind’. It wasn’t that much fun. Lots of repetitive fights. Not enough breadth of monsters to fight. Fast travel function or ways to fast travel is the worst I’ve seen of all games. It felt like the game wasn’t technically advance because of this.

To have an ‘unreliable’ save function and not allow players to save at their discretion in this day and age with all the technological tools is plain lazy or stupid of the game makers.

Finally the ending, I got the true ending. I felt so sad that after all the time devoted to the game the ending technically wasn’t a happy one for the Arisen and the main pawn. Even if the Arisen sacrificed themselves I wished the main pawn lived on. So loyal with us for the journey

I honestly could not care about the world or many of the characters we interacted with in the game to be honest outside say Ulrika. I found those interactions pretty boring and the quests did not exactly strengthen my bonds with the characters. Apart from escort quests, the characters you meet don’t help you in any way so was difficult feeling close to them.

I mean I would honestly sacrifice Captain Bryant at a drop of the hat but didn’t because I felt that wasn’t going to be a true game ending… I didn’t even bother saving that Coral Snakes guy and left him in jail for example…. I gritted my teeth to help the others.

So for me the ending wasn’t great and a turn off for devoting such time to play the game. Don’t think I’ll be playing anymore of this game… Rating 2/10.

  7. I used to frequent ACG vids, but somewhere along the way, our tastes diverged. Between him gushing over Starfield and DD2, comparing world aliveness in Horizon FW to RDR2… I might need some stronger weed.

  8. the performance in this game is pretty bad at this point. Im still playing it but waiting on a patch. I dont pan games on performance alone. This game still feels like a legit step forward for rpgs without cutting corners as much as other games. The performance is pretty bad though. I get sea sick playing games that have weird grraphcal issues. Alan wake 2 did too and got praised for its graphical fidelity. It was pushing graphics as much as this and doesnt have the same glaring frame drops but both games have a weird filter. This game can look stunning at times but other times is a flickering mess. It looks better than red dead 2 at times but gives me vertigo and so does alan wake 2. Rdr2 and gta v do not do that because they are so well made graphically. They have other issues with their design. Witcher 3 and cyberpunk didnt give me vertigo either. God of war didnt either. cyberpunk had graphical issues but no vertigo. Its like madden doesnt either. Its games like this that do. Its games that are usually pushing a newer graphical engine that isnt up to speed and they throw a weird filter over it. this game is 80 percent good but still 20 percent of the game feels either unfinished or they pandered. Still better than a lot of games for the simple fact its a legit rpg that pushes the genre forward and not like those other games.

  9. Why is a million sub channel starting the video by begging for people to let the entire video play even if you're just here for the score? You sound like DSP lol "please click the ads".

  10. The pawn system is a lot of fun….but moving around feels so clunky. The fights are fucking cool at first, but feel tedious by hour 15. The world feels big and small at the same time as it feels like at least the first 20 hours of questing will have you walking back and forth on the same path. I love the idea of travel in an RPG being meaningful and requiring prep…but you don't even need to be at an inn to save.

  11. I’m on the fence with this and was hoping you’d at least show off the character building. You mentioned it once or twice but didn’t give any actual detail about how you level and build your character.

  12. I had trouble converting the fire hose stream of "cool quips" and side notes into useful information. Maybe a little less creative writing and a little more conversation. …but appreciated non-the-less.

  13. Only reason i wont buy this game,is because i cant have fun playing a gme in 30fps.. it just dont work for me . im a xsx gamer, wanting to buy ps5. I really want to play some of the only on ps5 games…

  14. Bring back the Majestic Night. Add more spells for mage classes and core ability to magic dash, like the one u can do on hogwarts legacy. Also give magic classes a second well to use more spells. Give more technical uses for paws like commanding them to toss us up in the air, or sprint towards them to toss us across a broken bridge. Give us a Mount PLEASE !! And more cooking recipes so we dont eat a piece of steak every damn night. Add more classes like

    Ninja: can use ninjutsu

    Necromancer: dark magic

    Martial Artist: Martial arts

Monk: Blunt staff with light magic(in prayers instead of inclination) lol

    Beast master: Summons beasts

Guns expert: if magic and dragons can exist, surely rifles and cannons can too lol

Samurai: well u know what a samurai uses lol

Beserker: Double wielding any one handed weapon

Dominatrix lol: Whips (woman only lol)

Magician: Magic, probably can throw magic from his hands or throw cards that have different elemental damage, probably a dice, when rolled on a big number attack damage multiplies

    Weapons specialist: Nunchucks, spears, tonfas

If they add all that… then itll actually be called Dragons Dogma 2. Cos right now it just feels like Dark Arisen 2 lol
