  1. Thank you! Timely for me (Long Covid for 28 months) my last blood test, I came back borderline anemic, despite taking an iron supplement daily. Also, B12 levels are low, despite taking B12 every day.

  2. Wow thank you so much for this video , i had covid thrwe months ago , caught infection had to wait to take iron gummy supplements, now i started back up and can tell aome difference im low on iron but i dont know by how much im premenopausal and heavy periods too , this video has helped me alot thank you

  3. The conversations on this channel are such a wonderful resource. Supplements should never be looked to as a magic cure, yet it can be relatively simple to identify and treat vitamin and mineral deficiencies and I've seen so many anecdotes of people who swear by the effects that supplementation had.

  4. I've struggled with iron deficiency anemia and heavy menstrual flow since I was 11. They keep giving me the same treatment and it is not working. I get illnesses often, low bp and im now experiencing menstrual flu w weeks out of every month. Now I've hit 40 its worsening. My heamoglobin is sitting at 6.2. Surely it would be helpful to try injections or infusion? The tablets dont work for me and cause hellish ibd sypmtoms also. They freak out at my blood tests but give me the same trestment every time that is clearly not enough

  5. Interesting that there are quite a few comments making the link between mental health and iron status. This is a great video and very educational it would be good if there was a dedicated YouTube channel or podcast that looked at mental health in this holistic way that incorporates the medical and lifestyle and other components. I have scoured YouTube and the internet and there's nothing available at this standard.

  7. I was falling asleep after food, I was tired and had no strength thinking it was age as I am now 70+ but I started taking iron supplements about 3 weeks ago and ALREADY FEEL SO MUCH PERKIER! THANK YOU DOCTORS COHEN AND CAMPBELL. Along with vitamin D supplements my life is back to feeling healthy again and my complexion and gums are pinkish again inspite of my age! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TALKS! PEACE be with you. A multi-lingual viewer in Sweden.

  9. Thank you doctors x I watched the Vit d and iron vidios both extremely helpful and informative. I am a student nurse and this kind of information is invaluable.

  10. Thank you Dr John – you may well have saved my life. Because of this video I asked for Vit D and iron test when recently at my Dr – to check I am in optimal health when Omicron spreads through Nz. Turns out I have very very low iron esp for 60yr old. I’m now getn it sorted. I had no symptoms. I wouldn’t have known to ask if it wasn’t for this video. 🙂

  11. I wondered whether Drs Cohen/Campbell think there is a link to Long Covid and low iron. I have long covid and just diagnosed with low iron. All of my long covid issues fit classic low iron indicators?

  12. I think a ferritin test should be part of standard blood panel. My hemoglobin ended up at 5 and ferritin 0 before doctor took any action. Most primary care physicians know nothing about blood. So glad after ER visit I was referred to a Hematlogist for iron infusions.

  13. Why not just take a multivitamin every day..vitamin d, c, zinc, iron, maybe next discussion on vitamin Bs. Lol. Yes just say it, we are not eating right. JUST TAKE YOUR MULTIs.

  14. Really time you discovered OrthoMolecular Geneezkunde of which I am a practitioner. Treating and and advising about Deficiency Disorders. People have problems with iron because absorption is a heavy business, done at night. Do you know anything about the Immune System and lack of the essentials? Amazing, I could help you SO much. Check white blood cells as well as red and take Antioxidant Nutrients to recover from "the big flu" Sincerely Nicola Yates. 🌍💫💛

  15. So glad i took floradix when breastfeeding (avg 1/12 years) – maybe helped them be so healthy (now in their thirties) wonder if boosting iron would help people with long covid to improve oxygen uptake in blood?
