  1. A family member was in a serious wreck which broke her femur. She got out of the car and walked around in confusion. Didn't remember the wreck, didn't know what happened, didn't feel any pain (for a while).

  2. Damn car, lost control again!! If I was stoned, I would walk away also!! By the way, when you get in a crash, the air bags hit you in the face and give you a concussion, often.

  3. I crashed my motorbike once (long ago) and regained consciousness in hospital with a broken shoulderblade, collarbone and ribs. Nobody else was involved. All my fault (apparently).
I'd been left a card by a police officer who'd attended the scene and I had to contact him regarding collection of the damaged bike from the recovery company.
I phoned him the next day and he said I'd actually been fully conscious when he arrived at the scene and found me wandering around the road trying to collect the broken parts of my motorbike with one good arm and swearing like a trooper 🙄
I'd had nothing to drink and I still don't remember having the accident, talking to that officer or having a ride in an ambulance 💥👮‍♂🚑❌

  5. 0:45 If you ever gonna stop like that silver SUV does, always keep in mind to park in angle away from you, ass well turn the steering wheel away from you. To give you the better odds if in case someone is hitting you from behind. Keep that in mind folks.

  6. I would only stay in the car if unable to get out or if safe to stay inside (traffic has slowed down or stopped b/c the accident is clearly visible to them). Otherwise, I'm getting to the safest location away from any oncoming traffic. Thanks to YouTube, I've watched hundreds of crash vids and determined it's not safe to remain in the car like a sitting duck.

  7. So, she should stay seat-belted in the car that caught on fire… Normally I agree but she was very close to that guardrail protected area and, surprisingly, an exit. So I think that it was entirely reasonable to risk crossing the highway to reach that much safe location, but she needs to stop there to call police and wait for them, not continue to walk away. She could easily be T-boned or spun around if she stayed in the car.
