I do shotakan and Kassaki Kai
As someone who practiced Wado-Ryu for over two years, I can tell two things
1) you started the Wado segment on the seventh move of Pinan Shodan (just a flex)
2) You have no idea how to do a Wado knifehand block (fair enough, it's very weird compared to other karate styles)
All those years ago when I started. I started with Goju ryu/Shito ryu. After a year when I switched from karate to Japanese Jiu-Jitsu which was the progenitor of Wado ryu. And now I am tyring to self taught myself Kyokushin, Ashihara karate and I will maybe try Okinawan. I guess this art will follow me every where…
