Michael is right and its something regular civilians do not nor would ever understand. His father, Sonny Franzese, was the real deal, last of the elder Mafia. He never talked, he never publicly acknowledged the existence of the Mafia, he took that oath and code to the grave, and i honestly respect him for it. IF you don't want the responsibility do not take that oath. That said, Sonny was screwed over by Colombo Family many times but he took that oath seriously. Oldest living known Mafioso and he made it to 103 years old on probabation. He never let it go.
