You can't honestly say 'Democrats ignored it', as far as the absolute chaos of gangs invading and taking over those complexes. The Democrats INVITED AND CONDONED those criminals in and let them run rampant throughout those 'progressive' cities and states. They even went further by providing room, board and usually a larger 'stipend' of funds than they would to citizens and vets! Most those 'progressive' Democrat cities & states also made it easier by cutting funding for their emergency services (aka: police) to limit the ability to deter such activities.
