I’m from the UK and that part of that SpongeBob episode “don’t drop em’!” I can remember quite a bit. So maybe it was only deleted on some tv stations or just forgot to take them out of the dvd releases (because I remember that part on both tv release and dvd release)

I believe that shows shouldn’t change things or delete scenes or remove episodes.
Controversy is controversy at the end of the day and when it’s already happened then you can’t erase it by simply removing something.
So when removing episodes or shows because of controversy or deleting scenes then ultimately adding them in the end when we’d rather see them in the movie.
Removing media doesn’t stop money making because as long as the show or movie is played on a platform then they’ll continue making that money.
