Speaking as an observer of this presumed Fandom grass-roots movement over the past couple years, I've gradually come around to the conclusion Jeremy is the individual with the greatest amount of integrity. He seems more business-focused (even if he claims to be not good at it) than fame-focused, he addresses issues head-on and doesn't avoid or run away or lie about it, and even when I disagree with him I never get the feeling he's posturing or virtue signaling or taking any stand he doesn't genuinely believe in. There are a lot of good men and women involved in this supposed grass-roots effort, but he appears to have the strongest & most iconoclastic independence.

i remember seeing jeremy in 2018 presenting a video or 3, i think it was about the bungie neil druckmann shit at the time.
then kind of lost track of G&G until i stumbled on FNT years later, and saw him on the panel,
so now i'm back on G&G, and a regular tuesday night lurker too 😀

GnG has a bad rep because it's earned. I'm in the camp that Hollywood and Disney in particular, preach way too much but when GnG member Ryan Kinel makes fun of George Floyd and lionizes Derek Chauvin, how do you reconcile that GnG doesn't have racists in its ranks?
I wouldn’t say the words have lost meaning as cancel witch hunt culture hasn’t gone away (it’s gotten worse) but yes it does show the words are abused to no end. There is no universal agreement on what a majority of these labels mean. Ultimately you have bad faith dishonest people labeling people for challenging their ideology and it’s cultish behavior. They use manipulative tactics to control people.
G+G is going to be treated just like anyone else who smells something foul with the tribe that started this culture war: as a political enemy. Why?
Because we're actually their ETHICAL enemies, and they lose if they admit that. They're being taken to task by folks who have liberal views, and they have to lie about that, since it was never about party lines. The enemy is a parasite to a party, not the whole party. Never lose sight of that.
