  1. I honestly don't know how a country, who allow guns in the society would still approve one man policing. This is like giving your enemies license to kill. If you like your law enforcement officers, don't allow a one man policing, you're setting them up.

  2. Heroes are built different. They don't know how to be any other way. This trooper is a clear example of that. God bless him. I can't believe the trash drug addicts that did this to him got off so easy. Shame on that judge and jury.

  3. I don't have a take that's different from the majority here. The dude shooting at a cop is absolutely terrible. That said, I'm curious about the reopening of the charges, etc on the state side after they were already dismissed. Can someone please explain how that works because I feel like I might be misinterpreting it. Like the state can just decide to come back after you whenever?
