I was a manager at a grocery store when Obama care started. The previous policy at the store was that everyone worked 38 hours. Everyone got healthcare. It wasn't great insurance, but we all got it. After Obama care they hired more employees and cut EVERY SINGLE hourly employee to 28 hours a week. That way they didn't have to meet all the new requirements, which were more costly than the old policy we had. So I went of ok insurance and full time pay to no insurance part time pay and being fined $800 a year on my taxes for not having insurance.

But, if anyone talks about giving the American people free healthcare all I hear people say is SOCIALISM! We support how many countries that have free healthcare why do we not have that in America?! It’s getting crazy. We either start importing ideas that work for other countries or we die off as Americans. People can’t afford stuff like cardio grams for their hearts because the estimate is too high!!

I voted for Obama in 2008, and his policies are so messed up I stopped liking the Democrats. In 2016 they cheated Bernie in the primary election so I voted Trump as a political protest against the cheating left. I don't really like Trump, but I see it as the principal of the matter. The Democrats policies are completely insane and even though I think Trump is an obnoxious a**hole I still voted for him based on the policies and not the party. I don't agree with this man politically, but no one should every have to forgo insurance or healthcare because they can't afford it. Universal Healthcare (Medicare for All) would prevent this. And I know all you conservatives probably don't want no stinkin democrat socialist healthcare plan, but understand neither does the democratic party. Genocide Joe said he'd veto it. Pelosi won't allow a floor vote on it. They only pander to immigrants because they want Latino votes. They don't actually want to give them anything. But they also don't want US to have healthcare that's free at the point of service either. And I'm sorry, what's the republican alternative to healthcare? Obama.care was just 1 of many scams our government pulls on their own citizens……the lroces and coverage for Obama care was a joke….I was an independent contractor 1099 during that time and had to get my own insurance…..I DID THE REAEARCH OF 10 INSURANCE CARRIERS AND FOUNS COVERAGE WHICH WAS SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAN OBAMA CARE SCAM……. You cannot trust any politician. Unfortunately, In order for somebody to govern our society there needs to be a little trust. I think that party has shown they cannot be trusted. I’m sorry that happened to you. The price increase, with penalty, happened to many of us. You get on the Trump train and you won’t have healthcare insurance at all. Prior to “Obamacare”, people would rack up medical bills and not pay them due to being uninsured. The cost would get passed on to others (how is that fair?). I’m not saying the Affordable Care Act is the best. Myself and my family got hit. But it’s something that ensured people had health insurance to pay for their own care. If there was a way for government to regulate costs charged by MDs and medical facilities that could probably help. But Trump certainly ain’t gonna give a frick!

1) you know that anyone who goes to a hospital gets treated, right? If you can’t pay, it’s absorbed by everyone else.
2) you know that republicans are the reason so many fell through the cracks with Obamacare, right? I mean, if Dems had their way we would have universal healthcare. But republicans want free market healthcare.
3) if you paid a penalty for 10 years, please hire an accountant. When Republicans gutted Obamacare, I think the Supreme Court killed the penalty. That was like year 3 or 4 of Obamacare.
4) I’m sorry for your struggles, but please keep in mind, undocumented immigrants are not taking anything away from you. Any assistance they receive is completely independent from any benefits you do or do not receive. 5) stop calling them “illegals.” They speak more languages than you. They gave up their homes, their jobs, their friends, all of their possessions, and risked their lives traveling 1000s of miles for the hope of escaping their country, which we had a hand in destabilizing. Let the legal system figure out their situation and just worry about yourself. You don’t have to invite them to Sunday dinner, but it costs nothing to be kind and even less to not say anything at all. They’re not taking your job. They’re not breaking into your house. It’s easy to dehumanize them by labeling them “illegals.” Just keep in mind undocumented immigrants are everywhere and from every country. Many of them are white and have college degrees. But when you say “illegals,” we know you are referring to the desperate refugees from South America. 6) remember when Trump promised a new healthcare plan within his first 100 days in office? And an infrastructure bill? And a border wall, paid for by Mexico? And he would make sure Hillary went to jail?

Excuse me but the affordable Care act was basically just Nixon care written by the heritage foundation so you decided to stop being a Democrat because the Republican health care bill got passed.
You didn't even go into details on which part of your health care plan didn't meet the requirements for the affordable Care act but I don't see how the Democrats passing a Republican bill makes you, decide to be a Republican.
The affordable Care act hasn't done s*** for me I had health care when I didn't really need it and didn't have it when I did need it and now I realize that I know more than now than most doctors will know in their entire career.

My Republican controlled state purged me I'm guessing I didn't see some little tiny scrap of paper in the mail that I was supposed to send back or something so I wasn't able to vote the second time in my life I tried to vote and there's been literally no one worth voting for since.
My first vote was during Obama's second election because I just moved and it was too complicated to figure out how to vote in a place I just moved into hundreds of miles away from where I registered 4 days before the election.
So my second chance to vote in my life I looked at Obama and I looked at Romney, And I voted for Jill.
No chance she was going to win but I'm not going to sit there and vote for a guy who tells me that I can't expect to get anything I want out of negotiations while the Republicans come out of negotiations and say oh we got about 80 90% of what we wanted.

Rent right now in my area the lowest you can find is about $800 If you multiply 800 by 1.05 you'll get a 5% increase If you do that 10 times, In 10 years the minimum rent will be about $1,300 and at 1.1 or 10% increase year over year it's going to be $2,000.
Now you complain about your health care but rent is about to go up 60-120% In just 10 years. The average has been about 9% over the past 40 years.
If nothing happens I mean the meeting income in my area is gone up to maybe $6,000 over the past 10-15 years, Even though rent over that time has pretty much doubled. Went from 32,000 to about 38,000.
So what do you think happens when rent is like 24,000 a year and the median wages like $40,000.
What are we going to do just lock everyone up for camping because they're homeless? Put 40 50% of people into homeless shelters?
The Democrats problem is that they don't actually want to do anything and the Republicans party is that they want to screw everything up and then blame it on the Democrats and they do it over and over again.
The solution is for people to stop being stupid and to realize that all these stupid ass virtue signaling is all to make sure people are so pissed off at the stupidest crap that they can't do basic math and realize that the economy is going to collapse.

Obamacare was a piece of garbage bill! I could not afford it at all. I thank God that I was able to land a job with good benefits. And now we get to watch them send BILLIONS to other countries that have free healthcare and free college tuition. I left the Democrat party back during Obamas last term.
