okay but my question is, why not just get a modded 3ds or whatever dual screen?
the dual screen seems here like the worst thing to our attention span, like imagine not being satisfied with a game that you need to watch a video at the same time.
What sucks about the price though is that I could buy a 3ds and 7 or 8 other Pokémon games to play😢

An arm version with Android or linux is far better. It will way slimer and have better battery life.

You can probably run something like Lossless Scaling on these kinds of systems to double the FPS in games. If you can pair it with RTSS to hard limit framerates, you can easily pull a very smooth experience on most things.
It's underkill if that device can't even do the main feature of the 3DS which is 3D.
My setup is I'm emulating on a powerful desktop PC for 10x the resolution displaying on my 65" 3D OLED TV from LG and that + VR is probably the current best way for 3DS emulation.
