  2. You guys are so off bases with Mad Max my favorite thing was them showing more like Fury Road was good but it was not exceptional…. good but not amazing like you all are boosting it to be but it is my own take so take it with a grain of salt love the content.

  3. While it is a somewhat risky move, it does make sense to me. CoD is already crammed full of micro transactions. Those MCT probably make the game loads of money.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid Gamepass will just become the same thing as Network Television. Pay to watch and still get adds. Here, adds are just MCT. Halo Infinite is sort of a perfect example. Part of me wonders if the game would have still just been a $60 if Gamepass didn't exist.

I think they were afraid the game wouldn't sale well at $60 so decided to cram it with MTC and label it a F2P title while making the Campaign P2P to satisfy people with a Gamepass title.

With Gamepass, they knew a large portion of Halo's audience wouldn't need to buy the game anyways so they just made it free and gave us MCT. That way we're still paying for Gamepass and still giving them MCT.

  4. Can't please you guys. Nah Game Pass isn't sustainable but it fits today's gaming climate. So many gaas, remakes, and remasters. Just make hay while the sun shines and enjoy it.

  5. Please, stop congratulating companies on "speaking on mental health", what absolute tripe. Featuring an insane, mad, delusional or crazy character in your game without providing a new and original angle or information that completely changes the way we see it (which you couldnt because its already been done, we understand what being mentally ill means) is not impressive or deep so please stop pretending it means something, it doesnt kay?

  6. I agree with Jake. Absolutely loved the first game. Loved the message about loss and letting go. Still think it’s perfect as a single experience and doesn’t really need a sequel

  7. How anyone makes it past the trailer of Furiosa and want to watch it is beyond me, stop watching junk. Go back in your mile long watchlist and watch something good instead.

  8. As a huge Mad Max fan since the 80s, I feel expecting something at the level of Fury Road was asking to be disappointed. As Ralph said, Fury Road was perfect. It was lightning in a bottle. Furiosa was great in its own way, but it was never going to even get close to the level of Fury Road.

  9. Ralph, buddy, pal, my main favorite man. I love you. I really do. But I also love your cohosts. I keep needing to skip 5 minutes at a time because I don't get to hear them speak on particular topics. I know a lot of your opinions from your other content. I'm not asking you to stfu. I just want a little more back and forth with the frands. Five minutes of speaking at a time is borderline powerpoint territory.

  10. I love the double standard of when men go bald it's funny and worthy of ridicule. But shock horror when a woman is going bald and it's suddenly some huge thing you have to be sensitive about and is worthy of slapping a comedian on live tv. Fuck off. It's either all funny or none of it is.

  11. SkillUp and the other Ponies on this podcast are so scared of COD and Gamepass 😂😂😂. Trying to scare people away from Xbox and Gamepass. Cry me a river you Ponies!!! 😂😂😂

  12. I'm starting to think that Ralph is talking too much, there is no room for the others to express longer ideas because Ralph just continue to interrupt them or taking the spotlight quite often.
Love you all, just starting to note this, could only be in my mind.

  13. As a corporate spy I can confirm I’ve written down all of the names of independent platforms you’ve mentioned and I’m buying it all. You’re welcome

  14. On the next episode, can you please draw attention to Dire Decks – an indie developer shared parts of their code with another developer who then stole it and published it on Steam as his own idea.

  15. Loved this episode, I think these episodes of you all just chatting are my favorite (still love interviews though)

Also, I found the Lorelei and the Laser Eyes Notebook on Annapurnas website. I think it was like $16 USD with shipping, I can't wait to dive into that puzzle adventure.

  16. This is the cycle of capitalism and inherent human greed. Once you get a few greedy bastards in any company, it is very hard to weed them out and they have all the drive and psychopathy to do whatever it takes to reach the top. Once theyre there, they can completely restructure around capital. Unless these new media outlets like Second Wind allow equal stakes and negotions for all employees, they will inevitably become a new IGN if they experience that growth. Its the sad truth, but unless AI literally does make these decisions for companies, someone will ruin it. It has happened for millenia

  17. Im so sick of this "Hellblade 2 looks good" bs. Do any of you remember how Marvel movies have always kind of "looked good," yet their writing and storyboarding took a nosedive? Yeah, we clowned on that defense then, and we should do it now. People shouldn't settle for a modern Marvrel movie of a game for $50

  18. After the whole Tango gameworks fiasco, I cancelled my gamepass sub for the first time since launch and don't intend to re-sub. I've won awards and lost my job before, it's the worst feeling in the world, busting your ass to produce magic, only to get screwed. I don't wish that on anyone… Microsoft/Xbox is gonna have to do something magical to get me to sub back, no amount of COD is gonna make me come back.
