This isn't "back-up". I'm from NY. I've heard of dudes in the Bronx who sell drugs and have back-up on the roof top with automatic rifles. When an undercover rolls up on them, I've heard one specific story from prison where the shooter appeared and the cops from the roof top and they backed the fk up for real, got in their car and left.
