  1. 400$ for a stand and bag < 3-4 months at a legit boxing gym. Unless your trained ( not from YouTube ) you’ll develop improper technique. I hit the bag for almost 6 years before I was went in to a muah thai gym and had to relearn the right way, and I’m glad I didn’t wait.

  2. Don’t buy those century wraps, they stuck total ass. No stretch, super thin, rough material. There should be some everlast ones on the shelf next to it for like $14, those are 10x better.

  3. If you’re getting a cheap bag like that you can find pratticlly new ones on market place for $100 with bag and stand. I’ve got about $5000 worth of boxing gear. My most expensive things are my prolast luxury bag was about $600, my fierce reflex bag was about 600, I have a pro free standing bounce back that retails for $700.

  4. Heavy bags are often shitty – surface, filling and mechanism to hang it.
Heavy bag stands – here the problem is stability and enough distance from the bag so that you don't accidentally hit the metal. Good stands are VERY rare – that's why the ceiling is better.
Gloves – shitty ones will do it, you'll kill them with sweat anyway. Might want to have another pair of gloves inside.
Hand wraps – never used them.
A suspended punching ball is pretty much a must.

  5. Those nylon straps on the bag usually rip , I went through two bags with a counter balance weight to prevent too much sway but it still ripped. Also make sure that the hook you hang it from is made from stainless steel. If you try to use a cheap aluminum hook the friction from the bag rings will saw through it clean .

always try to use a counter weight because the bag could break the wood beams you have it secured to, especially if you use a bigger heavy bag. not speaking from experience lol.

  6. I know this is a cheap set up but I hate those type of heavy bags. They’re not “heavy” at all, if you’re a beginner it’s fine but if you can actually hit hard you’ll know what I mean.

  7. If you really want to boxing, you need to go to the gym, and work with other guys like you. If you just want to get into fitness, this list will be more than enough. Btw This bag is for kids.
