Food labels were not mandated in metric till 1976. Did Chapman's go early or did you convert after '76? Just curious.
This company will win my ice cream dollar every time. They have a history of treating their workers well. In 2009, the factory burned down and they ensured no one missed a paycheck while they rebuilt. They paid their vaccinated workers $1 / hour extra. This was no temporary "hero pay" that Loblaws pulled off, it was permanent. And when the vaccines needed extra-cold storage, they volunteered their freezer. Did I mention that they are also family owned and use 100% Canadian milk? I strongly support fair and ethical local businesses!
