  1. Chandra Shekhar Azad played a very important role in the Kakori Train Action of 1925, but not as one of the main attackers. The Kakori incident was planned by the Hindustan Republican Association (HRA), a revolutionary group fighting against British rule. Their idea was simple: loot a train carrying British government money near the town of Kakori (Uttar Pradesh) to fund their revolutionary activities. While the action was mainly carried out by Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Rajendra Lahiri, and a few others, Azad was deeply involved in the planning and support of the mission. He also helped in arranging weapons and was a trusted aide of Bismil.

    After the Kakori incident, when many of the revolutionaries were caught and sentenced to death or jail, Azad escaped capture and continued the fight underground. He managed to stay hidden from the British for many years, keeping the revolutionary spirit alive even after the loss of key leaders. Azad's role in Kakori may not have been in the spotlight like some others, but he was one of the backbones of the operation, and after the event, he became the most prominent face of the next generation of revolutionaries, including Bhagat Singh.
