The irony that if the creators of the show f'ed off and let people be, they wouldn't have this problem.
There's a HUGE difference between all this nonsense and the original Star Trek. Kirk didn't have to say, "Everyone, please welcome our new black communications officer. Isn't she great." And the publicity didn't have to go on and on about Uhura's skin colour and how diverse and wonderful Star Trek was. They didn't have to make it a central them in the show and shove it down our throats.

Ive been a fan of dr who for years and just watched the new dr who episodes. Not sure what’s going on but this is not going to be anything I’m going to watch, absolute rubbish. I did enjoy jinx monsoon, I thought her over the top portrayal of the villain entertaining. Hope to see jinx pop up in more tv work.

David Tennant was born in 1971. Walter Carlos went public as Wendy in 1979, when Tennant was 8 – a child. I knew a Ron who became Joyce in 1982, when Tennant was 11 – still a child. Boy George was 1980s.
