  1. It's such a difficult situation for those who really want to just immerse themselves in DD2 world and have a great time, without stumbling all the time over the bad decisions.
    1. Microtransactions are there and you can ignore them, as the majority of those are just "easier to start with" items or cosmetics, but it still leaves bad taste, when you see how greedy Capcom is, considering it is a single player, full price game.
    2. Performance is a really big one, though it really puzzles me how different the game can run on different systems and the fact some older systems are pulling better fps. It really shows how poorly optimized the game is, especially when you have Forbidden West, which arguably looks better and runs far smoother.
    3. Denuvo…oh, if only it would be, what is marketed to be. Yeah, I understand it is a better security tool, but was it really necessary? It's still going to be broken and the cracked game will not have access to online mode, hence no access to pawns? Was that not enough incentive for people to buy the game? Knowing how power hungry Denuvo is and how it affects the performance, they probably lost around 10-15% sales, because of that decision alone. I know some people, having a personal vendetta against Denuvo and they will never buy anything that it touches.
    4. Only one save slot without a new game is a weird one and as much as it is a very poor choice to have one save slot, I think I know why they don't want people creating multiple characters – pawns populating the servers and lowering its performance or even crashing it. Some gamers like to start over several games to try new things. As much as it is a convenient system, it also creates a pawn for every newly started game. Hearing you talk about pawns and how much more helpful they are with all the information they store, that will translate to data, that could become a problem for servers, especially when they want to save money on upkeep. Even in original DD and with pawns storing much less data, servers are already clumsy, which is seen the moment you rest and how long it takes for data to be synced. I think that could be the reason why they don't want people to start over and over. You can, but this probably involves you manually and physically removing pawn data along with your saved game from the server, hence the difficulty in doing so. It's just a guess, but I think Capcom is just cheap on servers and this is their way to limit data stored on it per one player.

  2. The micro transactions dont bother me seeing you can get it all in game. I do understand people being upset. What i dont get is no new game.. like wtf is that shiet.. i was able to restart by deleting my save and going offline completely, but thats ridiculous

  3. Isn't one of the microtransactions for the ability to create another character or have additional saves? You are paying full price for a game and you can't have multiple characters unless you buy more or manually delete all data and then you may get banned.

Like wtf dude?! That's not cosmetic…

  4. I love your content ACG, but I couldn't disagree with you more. Horizon Forbidden West is a beautifully boring game. It has all the worst parts of a Ubisoft game, and Aloy is completely unlikable. Huge departure from Zero Dawn that was really enjoyable.

  5. Despite it being number one on steam. The game feels very modern yet it’s a level below Shadow of the Colossus. Almost like a PS3 game. DD2 is go to for now until ELDEN RING DLC.

  6. Guess im one of the few people jumping into Horizon Forbidden West on PC and man this game looks amazing. Im in the Zion National Park part, which is beautiful… One thing I have against it is the story telling just feels lacking and uninteresting despite fighting Dino Robot/Animals but not that big of a problem.

  7. Dude you seems to give cover for CAPCOM cover for their microtransaction by saying that it doesn't impact gameplay. So I need to repeat this again:
No, there is NO EXCUSE for putting in microtransaction in a SINGLE PLAYER GAME! Dont give excuse for such anti consumer antics.

And you say it doesn't impact the game? LOL it affects the mods with their anti mods and anti cheat stance for SINGLE PLAYER GAMES dude!!!

  8. I like how he tried to back pedal. And then shift blame everywhere but himself. ACG "Yeah I should've talked more about it" 😂 All the influencer reviewers knew about this but were told in their NDA agreement not to talk about it until after you purchased the game. Does that sound familiar? Cyberpunk 2077.

  9. What? I haven't played Monster Hunter since World and the microtransactions were basically a couple cosmetic outfits for $2.50 or something like that. If you can buy the stuff you farm for now that's terrible.

  10. I have no problem with cosmetic microtransactions, but when it influence gameplay i want nothing to do with it, specially if its in a full priced game. Glad i didnt get DD2 anyway … I learnrd from the past … Never pre order and never buy games day one. I wait atleast a week

  11. You know you didn't mention how shitty the optimization was and you had a preview copy. A lot of people have been ripped off not just because Capcom because all you youtube shills put it out saying "it's got its quirks but no bugs" "the frame rate has some drops but it's not crazy."

  12. I know most people don't care about their money but I'll still complain about microtransactions. Even if the chance of changing anything is minimal.
They always make a game worse. In the best of cases they removed something from the game to sell you on the store. In the worse of cases you are left wondering if their inclusion affected the game design.
And just because I don't buy them does not mean I'm not gonna talk about it. If the people who says "I don't care. I won't buy" complained earlier and louder we would be in a better position than we are now. Resignation and complacency are almost as guilty for our current situation as are the people with more money than brains.
