  1. Another diversity hire so Joey can say he hired the 1st openly gay DOR Secretary- never mind he is totally incompetent. By joey’s actions he seems more concerned w/ appearances than competencies.

  2. This guy is a total disgrace, not only that he’s despised by many former military personnel. Despite being a homosexual holding this position of power on creepy uncle Joe’s administration. Every single homosexual friend of mine literally hates this guy. In so many ways there’s so much I don’t even want to say, but this guy is a corrupt guy. Like the moment he was running for president we discover more in his background that even his in-laws see him as nothing more than trouble. kind of makes me wonder how things are going behind closed door with his husband but then again I’m not gonna go there so either way it seems as though there’s a lot of things that are more disturbing about this guy that I don’t want to go into. I can’t believe he’s in charge of our supplies and shipments. I almost got stuck in freaking Washington state two Christmases ago because of the whole southwest airline issue

  3. The cost of gas-powered cars has risen to the point that longer financing plans are needed to pay off purchasing new cars. So what do they think the burden will be regarding EV's? They're not affordable and everything else tied to EV's will be more expensive too (licensing, insurance, maintenance, parts, etc.). They will cause more wear and tear on our roads and in the long run they're harder on the environment. They need special tires and due to fire issues they're not allowed on ferries. Our grid won't support a mass switch to them from gas-powered cars, and what happens when our over-burdened grid goes down? Eventually they'll have to admit defeat but in the meantime we'll have wasted billions of $ on a pipe-dream.

  4. Buttigieg is a perfect Biden appointee. Doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing or saying, yet he’s supposed to have at least an inkling, since he’s the Transportation Secretary. He loves to say “let’s be clear.” Let’s be clear he’s way over his head.

  5. Like everyone else in the taterhead administration, Pete can't stay in his lane. Apparently, he thinks the senate confirmed him as some kind of dei czar, or minister of anti-American affairs? When he isn't on vacation, he just spouts nonsense – I'd rather the senate selected a dog as a national transportation mascot, set fire to pallets of cash [whatever their budget is] and sent the employees home. I doubt we would see any performance difference.

  6. I remember there, being somewhat of a reluctance to using cell phones when they first came out, and that was because of the cost of the phone itself, and the cost of every call made,,, but when the costs of the phone came down tremendously and the cost of using it came down to almost nothing then everybody got cell phones,, so, Mr. Butta Jed ,, lower the cost of EV,s to an affordable price and lower the cost of electricity to an affordable price,, and flood the country with charging stations,,, but until we see that happening yeah we don’t want those damn things

  7. Questions about structural weight thresholds; are there weight limits on structures, such as bridges, that were calculated based on number of vehicles/trucks expected at any given time. Wouldn't the weight of that same number of vehicles/trucks be dramatically heavier if they're all EVs? Is there a possibility of collapse under profoundly heavier traffic than was originally expected when the structures were engineered?
