You mentioned 2 or 3 days a week, would it be bad to do overcoming isometrics every day?
Interesting. Been doing things like that instinctively but now I may try them more deliberately, so to speak.
The thing is you look stupid when you do this, I only do this inside my house with metal chains or against the walls.
I’ve only just heard of this technique very recently. It’s definitely something I want to try out and read more into. This video has help a lot and has answered a lot of my questions. Thank you! Keep up the good work in getting this type of knowledge out there to the public.
For you Bruce Lee fans out there THE best documentary to watch is Bruce Lee: A Warriors Journey.
Trust me you don't want to miss out watching that 👌
Dunmo if it's isometric but bruce lee usedd to watch tv whilhis head and hips raised to strengthen his core. And if you read his books, he's such a training freak that he incorporates his training to his everyday activities.
We need a video on Alexander Zass's isometrics
At 70 I keep hurting myself at the gym with range of motion issue. This could be the answer to my goals. I will try it becasue it sure makes sense to me. Thank you subbed & upped!
Isometrics are by far the easiest way to gain strength
Any one questioning this have no understanding of strength
WOW, that planche on the mini parallel bars. Amazing.
Very nice .
is this all explained in his book?
I'm always coming to your page to watch this one video💯🙏i love your intelligence bro u help me a lot
Awesome
I really like his theory on strength building and his isometric set, I'm following his routine for legs. It's like HIT except you can do it 3 days a week or every day.
I use 3 ropes i braided together to make thicker. I pull on it holding tension while i push my arms out away from me then down and finally towards me and up to the starting position.
💪💪💪
Be water my friend
Chusa hua aam lag raha hai ye 😂
Great video! Fantastic advices! Stay strong and also keep being wise like Bruce Lee the legend! 👊
Punching is another interesting subject… boxers punches decelerated upon impact…they also use an open fist… unlike Bruce Lee punches accelerate and with a clenched fist.
In the early days of isometrics it was a cover-up for steroid usage.
Power rack is a common apparatus used worldwide… power racks has never been explained and not anyone knows how to use one… Bruce Lee's The Only Exception he's the only one that knows how to use a power rack.
Doing isometrics is not bodybuilding… weightlifters use isometrics to break a sticking point.
When you do push-ups you're essentially doing a plank a static hold… also Bruce Lee's fingers were doing a static hold… the dragon flag is a static hold.
Misinformation about isometric training… when you're lifting freeweight you're using The Agonist and the antagonist muscle… that's muscles on both sides of the joint… you want to eliminate the antagonistic muscle the non-working muscle… isometrics allows you to work The Agonist muscle the working muscle… without the antagonistic muscle… the antagonistic muscle serves as a brake makes you slower.
Without Bruce Lee, I wouldn't be interested about this and, without your video, I wouldn't inderstand this so from the bottom of my heart, thank you very mutch for this exellent video.
I've been doing isometrics all my life and didn't know it
Sometimes I like to pull from door frames, push walls and self-restrain my muscles.
So just lift heavier got it
always on point
This fits in with why so many talk about the benefits of the horse stance. Is said holding the horse stance properly for even no longer then two mins a day, if you can hold it for that long, can transform your body by a lot.
What is being told here, is why that works so well, and that using the horse stance alone, is not enough. If one was to use the concept of the horse stance on each mussel group throughout the whole body, the benefits would be a Bruce Lee level of fitness. So to speak.
This is some great info, not enough people talk about. Thank you.
