I think the left is panicked that this is going to be publicly humiliating for Joe Biden, but I don’t think they’re scheduling the debates before the convention so that the results go down the memory hole. If Joe Biden flubs the debate against Trump so badly that it’s a public spectacle, Biden’s performance, or lack there of, will be in every pro-Trump campaign commercial.
Nah, what I think is this is a litmus test for Joe Biden. If he can’t hold his own against Trump in the debate, the DNC will replace Biden as the candidate and go with another candidate instead who won’t have the baggage that the Biden crime family has or his obvious cognitive issues. Joe Biden will announce that, for his health, he will be stepping down anyway at the end of the current term and another Democrat candidate will be running against Trump.
