Because I received $30 a month on my 2024 cola. The government reduced my food stamp by $20. And with grocery inflation. I can buy around $150 a month less in groceries.

Look at what the social security service wrote on everyone’s statement “ if nothing changes, in 2034 the SS service will only be able to pay 80% of its obligations” Yes. The Social Security actually wrote this on statements.

They give you $50 but the cost is a third higher plus your taxes go up on the more you pay so that $50 ends up being like 50 cents after taxed.
