I believe sci Fi is prophetic, in a book maybe no more than a sentence. I also believe that those missing star charts ….. don't know what I am talking about? NASA had star charts disappear years ago. Seriously, with their security 🤣🤣 they were removed. I have been a sci Fi fan since I was 9 yrs old. 68 now. the end times will be wonderous in the scientific breakthroughs. that is foretold in the Bible 🙏🙏🙏
Well first. Desert planets probably aren’t going to have breathable atmospheres.
We portray aliens as humanoid…thus those alien planets probably have water and fauna and some type of breathable atmospheres to evolve them.
So please stop using gravel pits and old mines for scenery.
We can dispel our disbelief better if the scenery doesn’t make the story impossible to believe.

this is bizarre. doesn't make sense.
This is way too convoluted and counterintuitive. Who, or what, is going to the "better home for humanity?" Certainly not physical, flesh and blood humans. And what do they do when they arrive as non-corporeal memory banks?
I've watched a lot of movies, both good and bad, and by the 30-minute mark decided this film not only wasn't the former, it failed to even qualify for the latter.
Don't make my mistake and give it 30 minutes of your life.

There are 2 sequels to this movie. On the edge of my seat for Andromeda 1883!
Thia movie went downhill in the second act and totally lost it in the third act. Good idea gone to waste.
I expected a bit more on the concept of the neuro inhibitor & projections plus physical matter that is required to build. An interesting idea but there's no follow through…my brain is too aware of the gaping holes in this thanks to decades of sci fi.
Also, the acting, how they wore their suits at 'Nasa" & the location of the Nasa rooms that the 'travel' was conducted in is a lecture hall…feels off and unprofessional even if it is low budget.
He ate while u weren't looking. Imagination…
You have to agree , 1950's scifi is either amazing or so bad it's still fun to watch. & I do !

Another talking heads action movie. Gave up after 30 minutes.
Confined to sci-fi, Avatar is the worst movie ever made in my opinion. Hackneyed story lines and the idea that the laws of physics can be found to be different as long as the place is far enough away. Seems to me that Earth is complete and makes sense all by itself. No, two legged rhinosari are not evolving somewhere else because that is what they do. I could go on…
I was distracted when they showed that the last time he saw his father the boy was about 7 years old, but he received a call about 20 years later from his father’s office. Just don’t think he would have had reason to be given that number after being old enough to have a phone.
should be scifi fantasy. im having a hard time swallowing this thick sugar coated fudge. the 35 yo troubled adolescent boy act. star trac was believable this is not.
This is a Yawn, totally rubbish , very little FX, loads of talk and more talk , low budget and poor actors . trying desperatly , to sound credible , one of the worst Sci Fi ever.
Great film, but will there be a follow up?
Well the andromeda strain wasn't very good so lets see how this one turns out considering its supposed to be a sequel i geuss
