2. The Belmont was run at Aqueduct for 5 years, 1964-68 and it was run as a mile and a half race. It's easy to do on a 9f. track: you place the starting gate at the outside of the track at the start of the far turn. That way no horse has a real advantage – especially in a 12f. race. So why didn't the NYRA think of this for Saratoga?

5. Can’t see anybody beating Sierra Leone. Going to have plenty of pace to chase at. Honor Marie makes nice under play. I’m part owner of STG, felt he benefited from very easy lead, off track etc. at some point the heavy schedule will rear its ugly head and now price prohibited

6. I wish Seize the Grey had run in the Derby. It would have been a homage to his late father who was great, but never had a chance to run in the TC.

8. People still not convinced that STG is good. He will surprise again at the Belmont. He is peaking at the right time.

9. D. Wayne Lukas said in a interview that Sieze the Grey's recovery from the Preakness was amazing. The next day the horse was in great shape like he did not even run in a race. He thinks he is a big contender to win the Belmont. Interesting interview.

12. It's Sierra Leone's turn 5–2 maybe 3–1..I like the Belmont, and the Met mile rhe most. Be glad when the Belmont goes back to 12 fl's.
