Concord and Marvel Rivals are a good quick example on "genre fatigue". Almost everyone wished Hero/team shooters death when seeing one, but then got kinda interested when seeing the other. Just like with Helldivers, it's not that people hate liveservices, they hate BAD liveservices, (which is almost all of them) and will happily support good ones especially cause they're so rare.
Rivals looks like it has sauce, and only time will tell if they fuck it up with the said bad liveservice elements

If you ever decide to follow up on Wayfinders and AS, a point of contention is that they're burning good will by providing a max of 7 cosmetic items, no matter if you spent a few hundred dollars on their game, it caps at 7. Maybe if they were flashy but they're just cosmetics they had laying around.
Someone clever would say "AS must fill those airships with hydrogen to burn so much good will" may or may not be me but it's a freebie
