  1. Recently debating where AI is 'really at', it was proposed that Larry Page and Sergey Brin were deceased, having been killed by an AI they tried to shut down.

  3. 59:44 The artificial factor to intelligence,
Swimming in the same soup of national and corporate corrupted data as we all are
What is intelligence without critical thinking to see through the murky waters. Just look at how tobacco was able to corrupt medical data for decades, not unlike how sugar does today
Intelligence with bad information is quite frankly stupid

  4. I’ve seen the same clip of this robot opening a bottle on several platforms. Odd how it’s never mentioned that the robot literally breaks the top off the bottle. I don’t think that’s the kind of demonstration I would want to publicize

  5. So that little feature they say Apple is coming out with to take pics and show info, yeah that's called Google Lens and has been on Android for 6 years already. Apple is so far behind the ball it's not even funny.

  6. and the end goal is the ultimate, Robots that are indistinguishable from us real Humans, sounds unbelievable, but we will be there much faster than most of the World understands, and I don't just mean movement, I mean the whole range of intelligence.
We will have real superiors that know us infinitely better then we know ourselves, move much better than us, ahead of the time as well, because it can plan, no fooling it, lying to it, tricking it, and if it doesn't stay between it's guardrails, we are in real trouble, and remember we trained it, it is us. I'm being devils advocate, but it's almost the same as having Aliens among us.

  7. Definitely, I want an AGI Alexa. That is the point of digital assistants. What good is an assistant if you tie its hands behind its back? Of course, a lot of work needs to be done on safety. Initially, we might have to rely on the cloud and that is scary but necessary for the computing power needed but it should soon be possible to make home computers smart enough and linked to the AI (voice, robot, house, etc.). Should give a boost to PC sales too.

So am I afraid of the computers taking over? Not in my limited lifetime and likely not in the future. Just no point in it and since we are in control of the programming and assembly, it is completely controllable. Am I afraid of Alexa having my data? Yeah, it needs to be carefully watched.

The search engine looks to be a serious complex problem I had not considered. I do encounter search problems probably due to googles algorithms. I also see websites providing junky answers to common questions, and that will get worse with AI. For example, "How to delete a program" questions typically are due to complex problems but the website provided answers by just copying Microsoft "Help" and built in program uninstall. Few users are so inept PC users that need to be told the normal uninstall methods so the site is essentially of little use but they manipulate google search to get high position.

  8. 5:45 Precision hands and impeccable standing balance? Now this gotta be a revolutionary development from Unitree. Unitree have birthed some extraordinary capabilities in their Robotic project. 1:02:02 We definitely need some comprehensive rules that will govern the quality of the Ai services because poor quality with defects will ruin our entire lives. If Google search engine is destroyed with ample inaccurate search results then this will discourage people from using the service. Any level of inaccurate results will be like a complete nightmare for us.

  9. I like the video and content but there are so many video “effects” like glitches and weird overlays that I feel like I’m watching a video from an old VHS tape. For being so excited about the future, this sure has a lot of effort put into it to make it seem like an old tape. Ditch the effects and keep it clean and high tech looking like the content it’s discussing. B

  10. The fun thing about this battle for safety is that somewhere is a little degenerate that will surely make the uncensored version of AGI when it's getting open source (and it will surely go open source at some point)
