  1. For the record…this is technically NOT from the get your wings album, this is off of one of those nasty "greatest hits" allegations where they cut out big IMPORTANT parts of the song.

  2. I've loved the band since their first album. That said, they did produce some real crap albums in the later '70's and didn't return to form until 1987 with Permanent Vacation.

In the rock pantheon, they are up there on the second or third tier of great rock bands. They would have probably made the top rung, but their drug abuse, internal fighting leading to the loss of Joe and Brad's guitar work showed the holes in their operation.

Plenty of other bands have overcome internal strife; but with seven years lost before they got back together, the magic was almost gone. There are a few tracks that rode above the noise. However without the help of MTV they would have disappeared years ago…

  3. You could understand every word Steven Tyler sang – no asking your buddy or looking at the lyrics (if they were somewhere on the album or sleeve. Back in the day we did not have the internet. We had the library and reference books and magazines.
What is the longest you sang along with a song you loved using a wrong word? How do you know you are still not doing it?

  4. 🤘😎 same old song and dance 😎🤘

    Get yourself cooler

    Lay yourself low

    Coincidental murder

    With nothing to show

    When the judge's constipation

    Go to his head

    And his wife's aggravation

    You're soon enough dead

    It's the same old story

Same old song and dance, my friend

    It's the same old story

Same old song and dance, my friend

    Gotcha with the cocaine

    They found with your gun

    No smoothy face lawyer

    To getcha undone

    Say love ain't the same

On the south side of town

    You could look

But you ain't gonna find it around

    It's the same old story

Same old song and dance, my friend

It's the same old story, same old story

    Same old song and dance

    Fate comes a-knockin'

    Doors start lockin'

    Your old time connection

    Change your direction

    Ain't gonna change it

    Can't rearrange it

    Can't stand the pain

When it's all the same to you

    My friend

    When you're low down

And dirty from walkin' the street

    With your old hurdy-gurdy

    No one to meet

    Say love ain't the same

On the south side of town

    You could look

But you ain't gonna find it around

    It's the same old story

Same old song and dance, my friend

It's the same old story, same old story

    Same old song and dance

  5. Boston Garden 1975 and 1976. Or somewhere around that wonderful time, the drugs were good, ask Steve about his scarf that hung from the microphone with Seconals stitched into the seam.

  6. Hate how this great song has been cut &edited to fit whatever. For those of us old enough to have been there when this album was released & saw the Bean Town Boys numerous times… Leave well enough alone… Not broken then do not try to reconstruct the mouse trap….

  7. War on prescriptions is domestic terrorism!!!! We were stupid to ever have a black president he just helped radicalize religion and allowed a genocide attacking opioids. It's a Holocaust!!! White people are murdering their own race!! We're all going to die.
