There is something very rural about the settings within which western movies are filmed. As a rural boy, I enjoy comparing and contrasting the western ways with our own. As a lover of economic history, I have an interest in studying the methods that westerners used in (i) displacing native communities, (ii) enslaving the displaced families, (iii) occupying their land without compensation, (iv) establishing a semblance of Government or Law and Order system, and (v) making that whole oppressive thing look normal and acceptable. Movies are good for cultural insight, the way I see it.
I sit here in my chair waiting to die and the only view out of the window is flat town houses and streets. These films which I’ve seen a time or two are wonderful. For me it’s the scenery and the country. Wide open skies of brilliant blue with pine trees, meadows, mountains and scrub. I’d give anything to have one last holiday among that scenery.
What an era for recycling ok old moviesand books especially Books which are99% guaranteed to disapppoint will the public outlast the greedy profitmmongers
Valid point. Just like The Native Indians. " Think about it".

It was nice to watch a Western, of back when. I probably watched that western with my Dad when I was a kid. I'm 71 now. Thanks for the memories❣️
Dale Robertson is on every afternoon on Grit TV with the Tales of Well's Fargo.
It’s such a great movie but the YouTube adverts ain’t really no good and makes me sick to my stomach
My favorite guy from, "Tales of Wells Fargo." Worth watching.
The Silver Whip is a 1953 American Western film directed by Harmon Jones and starring Dale Robertson, Rory Calhoun and Robert Wagner
Excellent
The Silver Whip.
Those were the days when people knew swift justice brought an end to crimes.
Yes this is one of the best 👍👏👏👏
I allways hate the group mentality. We are many you are not so we can do as we like. I spit on it
Viewing in Pakistan
At 67 I still enjoying looking at the old western movies . The scenery is absolutely beautiful . Live in the Caribbean 🇹🇹
