It would be cool to see the DF crew revisit this on the PS5 Pro. FSR3 and PS5 Pro should be a match made in heaven for console gamers.
While that 8ms lag is impressive, the default input lag of the game being 130ms definitely isn’t. That’s some Killzone 2 territory, if you add a frame or two of display lag (admittedly this has got a lot better over the years) it’s gonna be very noticeable.
wow everyone in this game has the horizon potato faces
I really hope GTA 6 uses whatever tech it takes to give us at least 60fps or unlocked framerate that won’t dip below 48 so we can use VRR. I despise 30. I don’t know how I did it for song long back in the day. 😊
I hope asa runs better
There is one reason you want to get higher FPS, and that is to get smoother gameplay/lower latency, so why would i want fake FPS with ghosting and artifacting with more latency, yeah no thanks
fsr 3 in ff 16 very needfull
I am wondering if you can this tech selectively. For example, there's no harm in interpolating cutscenes, since you won't notice any extra latency anyway.
really nice, now implement it to games that actually get played? maybe?
in general console games should have a option for a unlocked framerate
it looks absolutely hideous on a larger display. don’t let the AAA myopia fool you into thinking this “how much sawdust can we fill a rice krispie treat with before someone notices”shit is the future!
Lossless frame generation is rocking pc with older hardware
How do you turn it on??
What's the music on this video?
how hard or time consuming is it to implement this tech into a new game or old game?
Wee needed
I recently play my first frame generation title on pc it was ghost of tsushima i ran ultra 1080p with frame gen got 90fps avg but the frame gen doesnt feel like 60 i was kinda disappointed.
Ryzen 5 5600
Gtx 1080 ti
I’d love to see this tech used for GTA 6. That game needs 60fps especially in online.
good that they released it on a game nobody the fck plays at all.
unfortunately the input still feels like the lower original framerate but hey at least you can see the generated frames visually.
Youtube really needs to add a 120fps option
We want this on Red dead Redemption 2
Why are some gamers wanting these higher frame rates. And none of them will admit that they can't see it. We don't need higher than 60 frames because your eyes can't see more than 60. If you had fly eyes then you have an argument as they see 240 so a 120 frames to a fly is like 30 frames to us. Pointless using resources, hardware or software to give you something that makes no difference. Just tech jargon
I notice everyone gooning for this to save their 30fps gaming experience, yet as always conclusion ends up being that it really isn't very good sub 60fps. It's pretty cool if you're in the 90's and just want to hit a feeling of 120fps though.
When your wife orders a TV online for fathers day and it doesn't support 120hz with VRR… I had to intervene 🤣
We need this for Dragon ball sparking, there’s no excuse now, series s should be able to handle split screen with this
Hopefully they don't make games so complex at baseline to where games NEED this tech just hit 60 fps on console….
Good news!
Every game running at 30fps needs this ASAP. 30fps kills my eyes after playing some games at 120fps
It looks like 720p on my 85 inch micro led
the best thing about FSR3 is that the "Fake Frames" people have disappeared now that AMD has an equivalent to Nvidia.
I can't wait for ai to generate my thoughts.
This latency is horrible even with frame gen off, compared to pc my base 30fps is 70-80ms with nvidia reflex enabled it drops by 10ms
RIP consoles. get ready for that input delay
So now what i wish they could have done is raise the internal resolution on series s and then add frame gen. They could have gone to 540p and still gotten about the same frames as the ps5/ series x.
Will FSR3 allow gta6/60fps on ps5 pro??
Better fps+less pwr too..great job AMD
Imagine exclusives like spiderman 2 or gow at 100 fps
So, the "next gen" console can finally reach stabil 60fps and more.
What about a Dragons Dogma Test? I mean it’s already uncapped in frames and should be easily testable due to its poor performance on console.
Hardware Unboxed had it right from the start, frame generation is a post process smoothing technology, not a performance boost.
This is probably the only reason to buy this game 😂
ghost of tsushima should also be able to do this on consoles
More reason why handheld Series S (series s like) make sense, lower resolution and smaller screen size is the perfect condition for FSR3, you could make beast from some low powered handheld.
We've had TVs with frame interpolation since mid 2000s, so…
The blur is not worth the tradeoff. It's so hard to see in games with Frame Generation technology and DLSS
I know it's not the topic but my problem with this game is the lack of motion blur and no option for it. Real life has motion blur and it really bugs my eyes when there is none on games. Everything looks, "framey" without it and motion always has this tracer look to it. I get that some people don't like it (even though real life has motion blur) but they should have the option.
What game is this and why is Jessica Pearson in it?
432p in 2024? Wow!
Can this be used on the cuarrent nintendo switch?
